    install, update & uninstall

    I you havent installed USBXpress driver or the Speed-

    Stroke GYM Ergometer previously, you need to install itnow. Then install eMonitorPro2 ollowing the step-by-step installation guide, until the installation is complete

    eMonitorPro2 can check automatically i theris a new version/ update available through thinternet. (You can turn o this eature in the tions page orm) I an updated version is locaa popup message will be displayed to remindyou. Remember eMonitorPro2 will not updatautomatically.

    Ater the new/ updated version has down-loaded, you need to uninstall the old applicatthen install the new version manually.

    Dont worry! All previous training data is re-tained when you uninstall and re-install anupdated version o eMonitorPro2.

    You can run the uninstaller rom [Computer -Start Menu] Programs _ [Allprograms] _ [InoSports] _ [Uninstall eMonitorPro2] to uninstall theapplication. And ollowing the step by step guide until the un-installis completed.

    note: Do not worry about your training data because it is retained whenyou uninstall eMonitorPro2.

    I you do however, want to delete all o your training data, you must deletethe older where the data is saved -manually. (The deault older is Mydocuments/eMonitorPro2 (I no alteration to the deault option path hasbeen made)

    In the option page, you can custom seteMonitorPro2. Any changes to the optionswill only take effect after the OK buttonis clicked.

    Training Result DirectoryBy deault all users training result data will besaved in the directory My documents/ eMoni-torPro2. You can change this to a older o yourchoice by clicking the Change or inputting theolder path manually. When the change is eec-tive, all data in the previous older location will bemoved to the newly created older.

    LanguageYou can choose your display language rom thelanguage drop down box. Presently, eMonitor-Pro2 supports English, Chinese Simplied, andSpanish. When the change is initiated, eMonitorPro2 will change to the welcome page uponstart-up.

    Auto Update CheckTo check your eMonitorPro2 version is currentcheck or updates via the internet each timeeMonitorPro2 it starts.

    connect your speedstrokeConnect your SpeedStroke to a PC with the USB provided, and thencheck the state display box - to ensure i the connection is OK.Make sure the red light on the square LIN [connector] box is on.The device display box is as ollows:

    SN Is the unique serial number o your Ergometer Console. Iyou want to purchase a registration le, you need tosend us the console serial number o your Ergometer.

    Ver The version number o your Ergometer Console

    State The connection state o your Ergometer and PC

    Disconnected Your Ergometer is disconnected rom the PC

    Connected OFF Your Ergometer is connected with your PC,and switched OFF.

    Connected ON Your Ergometer is connected with your PC,and switched ON.

    Check that your connection is OK, i switch indicates OFF, please clickthe on button or press the red 0/1 switch button on the Ergometerconsole. The console must be switch on to connect.

    You need to create a new user oryoursel when you begin to useeMonitorPro2. Click the Createbutton, and input your name andweight in the create-new-user dialog,then Click OK

    I you already have users or are a user,please select rom the drop-downbox menu. Make sure the weight iscorrect. I your weight has changedrecently, you can modiy it in theweight input box.

    You have two ways to stop thetraining program ater it has begun:

    1. Paddle to target completion(race distance end)

    2. To stop.

    stop trainingClick Yes to reset with the same settings, Click No to quit the

    training record screen. (Remember: The training le will beautomatically saved.)

    UNCOMPLETED EFFORT

    Click STOP or RESTART button to exit the current session. STOwill quit the training record screen. When the training session isuncompleted, a message box will be displayed to ask you i you wantsave the interrupted training data.

    I recorded, interrupted training data will be displayed with a label(Uncompleted) in the overview o the analysis orm, and a label (Uin the target column o the comparison list.

    PADDLE TO COMPLETIONThe training summary will nishwhen you reach the target. (Therace distance is completed). Thetraining data will then be auto-matically saved and a messagebox will be displayed to ask youwhether you wish to reset.

    listed in the let hand training data list.3. Check selected training data rom the training data list.

    Click the All button below the training data list to checkall the training data.Click the Delete button below the training data list todelete the data selected and checked.Click reresh to check/uncheck your selection.Click the Export button below the training data list to export the data that is checked. eMonitorPro2 will only allowthe training data o one user to be exported in everyexport le (extension is .etd) Note-Only the checked datawill be transerred.Click the Import button below the training data list to import the export le (extension is .etd) rom anothereMonitorPro2 user. (You are also do the same thing in theanalysis orm)

    To View the Training Record ListClick Result tab, then select a user name rom the drop-down box.All o these users training records will be listed in a distance/dateordered training record list.

    Each Training record list column contains the ollowing:

    mode training mode- time or distance

    target time or distance. indicated in meters or minutes & seconds.time date and time when the effort/ test was initiated.

    Click Mode (all) to sort records in the training record list.

    Comparison of Multiple TrainingPerformance Data Records

    In the analysis orm, a maximum o 4 training records canbe compared at any one time. These are colour coded ordierentiation.

    In order to compare records:

    Then you can see the comparison graphics curve in thebelow charts.

    Double click one record in the comparison list to displaythe detailed data in the list tab. Check the checkboxin the training record o the comparison list to showits curve.

    1. Select the user and the training record that youwish to compare.2. Click in the toolbar to add this training recordto the comparison list3. Repeat 1 and 2 until all records (Max 4 records) areadded to the comparison list4. Click the Comparison tab to display the

    Then select the Challenger rom the drop down box:Challengers will be you, or other users on the data base onyour version o eMonitorPro2.

    Previous best times o the selected challenger overdierent distances will be visible here in this data log.

    Then choose or select your Virtual Opponent -either yourown previous perormances and times or importedperormance les and data orm other users. Choose thepaddler you want to compete against their results andtimes will appear in the data box on the right-hand side.Highlight the particular race prole you wish to competeagainst see image below.

    Once this has been done Press ReadyThis will initiate the Challenge Race-Ready page:The User / Challenger is the Top Kayak Icon in Red- thVirtual opponent is Yellow below.

    The eint lines shown, beore you start the competitioeort are the Virtual Opponents target data.

    When you start paddling the program willstart automatically.

    The Red numerals indicated in the image below (3.7) the distance behind, the virtual opponent the challen

    is- (in meters) then when this changes to Green the nuo meters ahead o the virtual opponent will be showThe Black distance gure (100.3) or the Virtual oppois the distance the virtual opponent has covered.

    The active darker Coloured data lines shown are the real-time, stroke-by-stroke perormance data o the User orChallenger- these can be matched, compared and / or \analyzed against the eint coloured data lines o the vir-tual opponents perormance data.

    Please note:The distance scale on the base (X- Axis) othe data screen is the distance in Meters and a partialdistance segment o the complete target [race] distance.This partial distance segment will slide / re-set as thedistance progressed down the target course is traveled.

    The colour key code is on the right o the screen.Once the target [Race] is nished your win or loss isconrmed- Together with the Users / Challengers time.

    You then have the option to Re-race using the same datand same Virtual opponent or to re-set. The usersperormance is recorded automatically in the sotwaredata-base. Our objective is to collect a data base o woclass virtual athletes to be able to race manyvirtual opponents.

    Please note as a reminder: In order or the results, reping and data on eMonitorPro2 to be accurate, Athletesweight input should be accurate and all ergometersshould be calibrated prior to use.
