My main objective when starting the MBA was tochange my career path; my background was inengineering and therefore highly technical and I lackedthe knowledge to succeed in a business environment.I also wanted to live and study in a new countrywhere I could learn a new language, within a highlyinternational programme.

The ESADE MBA is very comprehensive and I wasable to gain a lot of knowledge from the start, complementing courses in finance, entrepreneurshipand leadership etc., with elective courses in sales, negotiations and digital strategy. With an exchangeto Singapore to gain an understanding of businessin Asia, a consultancy internship with BritishTelecom handling multiple responsibilities as partof the MBA Student Association, and the globalperspective I gained from my classmates, Ifeel well equipped to take on my new role inWashington DC after the MBA!

I decided to do an MBA because I wanted to broadenthe scope of my knowledge with a new challengeand an MBA would help me gain the skills needed totake me to the next level. The flexible format lengthat ESADE and the 15-month track was perfect for mebecause I didn’t want to be out of the job market for2 full years, but I still wanted the chance to do aninternship. I accomplished my main goal, as I will be apart of the intern program at Apple this summer. I amgoing to spend 12 weeks in California working withinOperations. I am excited about this opportunity andI’m sure it wouldn’t have been possible if Ihadn’t been here at ESADE.
