END-OF-SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS & PRESENTATIONSSEMESTER 2, 2018
The End-of-Semester Examinations & Presentations weeks are an official part of the semester and are declared on theCHC Calendar. Students are expected to be available for examinations and presentations during this time.
All examinations are 3 hours in duration and are time-limited (see Page 2 for an explanation of a ‘time-limited’ exam).
Students must produce their CHC Student ID Cards to enter examination rooms and display them as instructed.Students who do not produce their CHC Student ID Cards will not be permitted entry to examination rooms.
Students are to be ready to enter examination rooms 15 minutes prior to the advertised commencement ofexamination sessions.
Information regarding presentations (indicated by ‘[P]’), including the times and durations for which individuals orgroups of students are to be in attendance, is available from unit lecturers.
See Page 2 for further information regarding end-of-semester examinations and presentations.

END-OF-SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS & PRESENTATIONSFURTHER INFORMATION
The CHC Examinations and Assessment policies contain explanations of terms and the conditions underwhich examinations and assessment items are conducted.
Students who are enrolled in units in the external mode undertake on campus or external sittings ofexaminations according to their location. The conditions that determine this are explained in the CHCInvigilation of External Examinations policy.
Students who wish to apply for special consideration with regard to end-of-semester examinations andpresentations are to consult the CHC Examinations policy for the process by which applications are made.Applications for special consideration must be submitted no later than the beginning of Week 11 of thesemester.
Examinations that are time-limited are those in which extra time is not permitted. In the case of anexamination that is time-limited, students who believe that they have special circumstances which justifyadditional time may apply in writing to the Dean of their School for special consideration no later than thebeginning of Week 11 of the semester.
The conditions under which students may apply for a deferred examination are described in the CHCExaminations policy.
