1. Choose an endangered species (either plant or animal) and tell your teacher. Each student should choose a different species.

2. Research your endangered species and find the following information: 70%a. Scientific Name (Homo sapiens)b. Where it lives and its nichec. Why it is endangered and what is the biggest threat?d. What is currently being done to protect the organism?e. Give the current number of the organisms in the wildf. List 5 interesting and unusual facts about the organism

3. Present your information in a creative and informative manner: 30%

a. Power point - minimum of 15 slides ORb. Poster board – 10 pictures plus all relevant info gathered.

4. All projects should be colorful, creative, full of pictures, and valuable information
