Predoctoral contract

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

In the framework of the project “Disección genética de caracteres de interés agronómico en melón: Resistencia a CMV y maduración climatérica del fruto” AGL2012-40130-C02-01, to identify and characterize genes responsible of QTLs for resistance to the cucumber mosaic virus and for climacteric fruit ripening in melon.

Laboratory: Dr. Jordi Garcia-Mas

Educational requirements:

Master in Biotechnology or equivalent

Qualifications:

Experience in basic plant molecular biology techniques and solid genetics background.

Additional Specifications:

Advanced English skills.

Required Skills:

Interest in learning bioinformatic analyses.
