The four musicians of Bremen

Once there was a donkey.

to be a musician.

They arrive ...

at the house of the thieves.

The donkey stands by the window.

I see a table with a lot of food on it and drinks.

Thieves are sitting around the table. I’m

hungry!

The dog jumps onto the donkey’s back.

The cat jumps onto the dog’s back.

And the rooster flies onto the cat’s back.

The dog says woof-woof,

The cat says meow-meow,

And the rooster says cockadoodledoo.

Help! Help! It’s a ghost!

The thieves run out of the house.

Later a thief comes back.

The cat jumps out and scratches his face.

The dog jumps out and bites him.

The donkey jumps out and kicks him.

The rooster flies out and says coockadoodledoo!

The thief runs away to the forest,

There is a witch in our house and a man with lots of

knives and a scary Monster!

They all run far away.

The four musicians of Bremen live happily ever after in their new house.
