integrates a powerful hydraulic material handler and a rugged, versatile flatbed into one clean, functional unit. When installed on your trucks,

the Hydra Bed ® provides any and every member of your crew the ability to safely and quickly lift, load, transport and unload heavy,

bulky or awkward objects weighing up to 3,000 pounds, BY THEMSELVES! The 11 GPM, 2,500 PSI standard hydraulics

coupled with the unique flush-mount material handler also provide them fingertip control of cable reel loading,

transport and pay-out, post hole digging, material hauling and dumping, hydraulic tool use, as

well as back-hoe bucket and attachment change-out support. This wide range of

tasks never interferes with general use of the flatbed, including

fifth-wheel trailer towing.

The DB 200 dump Box attachment provides any Hydra Bed ® equipped truck the ability to haul, dump and/or spread aggregates, fill material, top soil, etc. The heaped capacity is approximately 2.5 cubic yards (your truck’s load capacity should not be exceeded). The self-engaging unit is easily installed or removed by one operator in 5 minutes or less. With fully inverted dumping capabilities, sticky material is easily discharged with no hand labor. The Hydra Bed’s® fully variable hydraulic control system provides positive and smooth control when dumping full loads or spreading thin layers.

The Hydra PHD ™ is powered by a high-pressure, high-efficiency motor, which is isolated from all side and end thrust by two heavy self-aligning, greasable, sealed ball bearings. Instant reversibility and hydraulic cushioning by the system relief valve make operation fast and fool-proof in nearly any digging condition. Shear-pin breakage is virtually eliminated because all over-load and shock conditions are absorbed by the truck, tractor or skidloader’s open or closed center hydraulic system. Can also be used on Front Loader or Skid Steer with appropriate hydraulic capacity.

The WB 122070 toolbox option features 12 gauge steel construction. It is 70 inches long and is equipped with stainless steel hinges and a lockable, gas shock assisted full opening lid. Often, we must go to our communication customer’s storage yard which may be 5 to 20 miles away from the job site for additional reels of cable. In the past, we had to take a backhoe along on a trailer to load the reels, as these lots have no loading provisions. Now, we send one employee with any of our Hydra Line equipped trucks to the yard. He or she can easily, safely and securely load and transport the additional reels of cable we need to continue or finish a job using these Hydra Line machines. Municipalities“The City of Sabetha has been using Triple C’s Hydra Beds since 1990 and every new pickup since has been outfitted with one. We have used the Hydra Beds inParks and Recreation, Street, Electrical, Water and Wastewater departments. Presently the Parks and Recreation and Street departments use the Hydra Beds for moving bleachers, picnic tables, soccer goals, barricades and many other large objects. For these departments, using the Hydra Beds relieves 1 to 2 men from each one of the above tasks. The Electrical department uses the Hydra Bed more than any other department. They use it to haul poles, load transformers, roll up wire, carry rolls of wire, and run all sorts of hydraulic tools. The Water and Wastewater departments use the Hydra Bed to haul pipe from site to site. They have devised a hydraulic valve opener which is used extensively.
