The Enterprise DVR Series isdesigned to satisfy high securityapplications, which demand real-timevideo and audio recording andplayback of every camera, whileallowing slower frame raterecordings. Every image recordedincludes both the odd and evenfields of video that provide recordingsof the highest detail and quality.Each channel can be configuredindividually for frame-rate andresolution and can record in multiplering buffers for pre-alarm, post-alarmand permanently recorded video.Recorded video can be exported toCD, DVD, floppy disk orexternal/networked hard drives. Allarchived video can be verified toensure the authenticity of therecording.

Enterprise can be configured intovarious hardware and softwaresolutions to accommodate diversecustomer requirements. TheEnterprise Series hardware includestwo server options, seven digital

encoder options, two decoderoptions and multiple storage options.The software series includes three-levels of functionality and features,three levels of storage and multipleremote viewing capabilities. Thevariety of options allows for high levelcustomization to meet applicationdemands.

Each digital server can record up to960 frames per second at 4CIFresolution (720H x 480V). All 32available channels can be recordedat 30 frames per second withsynchronized stereo audio.

Video Management Integrationusing the patented recordedmanagement feature of the MAX-1000 Video Management System.Enterprise can be integrated toprovide a single intuitive operatorinterface. By incorporating theUltraKey controller, a user canoperate both the video matrix systemand the Enterprise DVR. The zoomcontrol of the UltraKey provides up to

12 times the digital zoom of otherjoystick controllers, including those offixed cameras. The jog/shuttlefunction allows the user to accessinformation stored on hard drives.

The UltraKey controller can be usedwith Enterprise independent of theMAX-1000 matrix. Its stand-aloneuse provides a common interface forthe management system.Furthermore, it eliminates therequirement for an additionalcomputer monitor, keyboard andmouse.

The full range of encoders anddecoders make the Enterprisesystem the most advanced digitalstorage system on the market. The Enterprise system encoders aredesigned to stream 1 or 8 channelsof digital video over the network atuser defined framerates. Multiplemodels of encoders allow for 30fps(per 8 channels) up to 240fps (per8 channels) of full resolution 4CIFvideo to be transmitted over the

network. Some models also includeCD quality audio encoding andtransmission per video input, and allmodels include alarm inputs andrelay outputs per channel of video.The encoder settings are userdefined and variable bit rates canbe assigned per channel of video.Optional simultaneousMPEG2/MPEG4 compression allowsthe system to record at highresolution to capture the most

information, but at the same timetransmit at low bandwidth to keepfrom overloading the network.

The Enterprise series decodersconvert live or recorded digitalvideo back to analog for viewing ona standard CCTV monitor. Thedecoders also include theconversion back to analog of thesynchronized audio channels.

of full frame-rate video. Dual

gigabit network ports ensure that

the vital video and audio data being

transmitted and received is not

compromised by bandwidth

comes with a CD/RW drive, dual

channel Adaptec SCSI ports, and

runs Windows 2000 Pro OS for

optimal performance. The

KXR7SRVRE server is designed for

use with an external RAID storage

device only. The KXR7SRVRI server

includes internal RAID storage as

The KXR7WKSTN is the remote view

workstation for use in the Enterprise

Enterprise DVR Series Raid StorageDisk-Based Storage Solution

The Enterprise system includes a

variety of RAID storage solutions to

allow full scalability within the digital

system. All of the Enterprise RAID

devices are custom configured to

deliver the highest level of data

protection and fault tolerance. The

advanced hardware design

provides sophisticated centralized

management and monitoring of all

subsystems, and is able to notify

single or multiple system operators

of any event.

The Enterprise system consists of 6

RAID storage options: 5 external

storage arrays, and 1 internal to the

KZR7SRVRI server. All are capable

of RAID level 5 for maximum data

protection, and all active

components on the external arrays

are hot-swappable. Each array

includes redundant power supplies

for extra protection in case of

failure, and includes dual SCSI

channels for connection to the

server. The internal storage

options in the KXR7SRVRI include

120, 200, and 250Gb drives.

video and audio storage system. The primary system components are digital videoencoders, system servers, and RAID storage devices. A full Enterprise system mayinclude several of each of these devices, and is ultimately configurable to meet the

requirements of the most demanding digital storage applications.

Enterprise DVR SeriesSystem Software Overview

The Enterprise system controlsoftware delivers unparalleledflexibility for system setup and use.The intuitive GUI control allows forviewing, recording, playback,transmission, and archiving of videoand audio from multiple locations.Multiple search options, includingtime/date, motion, alarm event, and"smart" searching allow rapidretrieval of critical video and audiodata. The powerful alarm

management capability allows thesystem to automatically transmit preand post alarm images, live imagesand alarm messaging to a centralmonitoring station when an alarm isactivated.

In addition to the standard softwarefeatures, the Enterprise systemsoftware acts as a virtual matrixswitcher. The live digital video frommultiple encoders and the recorded

video from the servers can all belinked directly to the decoders forthe creation of a digital matrixswitch. The Enterprise softwarehandles this execution flawlessly,and with the option of the Ultrakeyjoystick controller the switchingcapability within the system isunmatched by any other digitalvideo control system in the market.
