The PUR-GasTM Purifier productline has been expanded to offera range of high-performancegas purification products in thetraditional “In-Line” (trap)design that is commonly utilizedfor point-of-use purificationwithin the laboratoryenvironment. The “In-Line”purifier configuration allows thepurifier to be installed easilyinto your gas delivery lines* ormounted on the wall with mounting clips if bench-topspace is limited. The unique “End Connectors”**allow you to remove the spent purifier without toolsand install a replacement in just seconds. Duringreplacement of the purifiers, check valves within the“End Connectors” automatically seal the gas deliverylines to the atmosphere, eliminating diffusion ofpotential contaminants into the gas stream andmaintaining existing gas purity. Similar to the PUR-GasTM Cartridge Purifier Systems, the PUR-GasTM

Chrysalis® II Hydrogen GeneratorHigh Performance No Maintenance (HPNM) SeriesNON-Desiccant Models

The Chrysalis® II HighPerformance No Maintenance(HPNM) Hydrogen Generator isthe most advanced and reliablesystem available in the market.Simply add 0.5 Mohmdeionized water to thegenerator to enable theelectrolytic dissociation processto occur and create hydrogen. Our generator utilizes anadvanced dual-column purification system to removeresidual moisture from the hydrogen gas produced. Thisdual-column automatically regenerates, eliminating theneed for maintenance on the columns, and eliminatingthe need to include a desiccant cartridge in the system asa final purification step. Since desiccant cartridges are anexpensive consumable that must be replaced frequently, the fact that our system does not incorporate one givesour system a low cost of ownership. Also, not requiringa desiccant cartridge means the user does not have tobreak the H2 process gas line connections to replace thedesiccant cartridge when it becomes saturated. Nothaving to break connections to replace a desiccantcartridge is the reason the hydrogen our system producesreaches a purity greater than 99.9999%.

GasTrakTM Delivery/Control SystemsMATHESON’s GasTrakTM ControlSystems represent a practicalapproach to controlling anddelivering low or high purity gasesfor distribution to "point-of-use"locations to meet the operatingrequirements in today’s laboratoryenvironment. GasTrakTM Systemsprovide a cost effective, efficientand safer alternative to maintaininggas cylinders in the laboratory environment asthe main source of gas supply. The GasTrakTM

Control System is a simplified design whichoffers the ability to regulate gas operatingpressure, provide gas purification and flowcontrol within a single dedicated "GasTrakTM

Station" for each specific gas being utilizedand distributed within the lab. The individual"GasTrakTM Stations" can be wall mounted atthe point-of-use for local instrument sourcecontrol; or each of the individual "GasTrakTM Stations" canbe combined into a complete system to provide centralizedsource control of multiple gases being used.

SourceTrakTM Manifold Systems (53 & 54 Manifold Series)

MATHESON’s SourceTrakTM

Manifold Systems offer a safeand efficient method ofconnecting multiple cylindersto a common gas supply lineto provide centralizeddistribution of gas for bothhigh and low purity deliveryrequirements. SourceTrakTM

Manifold Systems can beused as a manually operated system in conjunctionwith a line regulator to regulate downstream deliverypressure, or they can be used as an integrated part ofMATHESON’s Automatic Switchover Systems (seeSwitchProTM). Utilizing SourceTrakTM Manifold Systemsfor the distribution of gas provides greater safety inthe cylinder storage area by reducing repetitivecylinder handling and also minimizes the risk ofambient contamination within the gas deliverynetwork.

Cylinder/Panel Floor Racks

MATHESON now offersfloor racks for holdingswitchover panels, processpanels, etc., in three sizes:2 cylinders, 4 cylinders or 6cylinders. They areconstructed of 11 gaugesteel, and powder coatedASA61 gray.

PAN-5000 Series AnalyticalGrade Gas Distribution Panels

This most basic panel design offersa pressure regulator and processon/off control valve. Connection tothe gas supply is convenientlymade using a standard stainlesssteel flexible hose. This panel isrecommended when using inertgases with processes that do notrequire purge capability. Available with CGA 320,326, 346, 540, 580 or 590. Each CGA contains anintegral check valve.

The 3-valve panel provides apressure regulator with both aprocess on/off control valve and ahigh pressure vent valve, allowingtotal isolation of the regulator, aswell as the ability to purgecontaminants that may have beenintroduced by changing cylinders. The vent line isprotected from back flow by a check valve downstreamof the vent valve. This panel is recommended whenusing non-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-pyrophoricgases with processes that require the additional puritythat a high pressure purge is capable of supplying.Available with CGA 320, 326, 350, 510, 540, 580, or590. Each CGA contains in integral check valve.

3-Valve PanelModel PAN-5300

The 5-valve panel provides all thesame features as a 3-valve panel withthe addition of a low-pressure ventvalve, and adds the safety feature ofbeing able to cycle purge the panelwith an inert gas prior todisconnecting the cylinder. This panelprovides the safety needed to handle toxic, semi-corrosive and flammable gases. The 5-valve panel isavailable with an optional venturi for vacuumevacuation of the panel during purging. The 5-valvepanel is available with CGA 320, 326, 330, 350, 510,540, 580, 590 or 660. Unlike the 1- and 3-valvedesigns, CGA’s do not contain integral check valves.
