Ergo : what is the source of EU-English?
Standard British English?
Standard American English?
Both!!!! See morphology (use of British –s- or –ou- rather than of
American –z- or –o-, like in mobilisation and labour)
See semantics (use of American mainstream as a transitive verb rather than of mainstream as an uncountable noun)

Mainstreaming A process which enables activities to impact on policy and practice. This
process includes identifying lessons, clarifying the innovative element and approach that produced the results, their dissemination, validation and transfer. More specifically, mainstreaming also defines the phase of transfer and the way in which other actors take account of the results, approaches and key elements elaborated by one or more DPs . Mainstreaming can be horizontal or vertical. Mainstreaming is one of the key principles of EQUAL.
Gender mainstreaming Systematic approach to address the conditions, priorities and needs of
men and women in all policies and practice in order to promote activities based on equality between women and men.
Horizontal mainstreamingTransferring lessons learnt to similar organisations. The transfer can be
specific (e.g. a particular tool) or broad (e.g. contributing to a change of practice).
Vertical mainstreamingTransfer of lessons learnt and integration of all or part of results into
policy and practice at the institutional, political, regulatory or administrative level. EQUAL GLOSSARY – GLOSSARIO EQUAL

Governance Fa riferimento alle modalità ed agli effetti
dell’attività di governo piuttosto che all’assetto istituzionale dello stesso. Pone particolare attenzione alle relazioni tra i diversi attori sociali che intervengono nel campo di azione della policy.

Governo
Occorre far riferimento all’assetto istituzionale dell’attività di governo, inteso come produzione ed implementazione delle politiche pubbliche che danno vita a dinamiche di governo piramidali e gerarchiche fondate sul principio d’autorità ( procedure amministrative standardizzate ,policy making top-down). Viene identificato il concetto di governement con gli assetti istituzionali del governo, cioè con le istituzioni legalmente preposte a questa funzione(Consiglio dei ministri e Premier)(Source: ibid.)
