Product Description – What is CAN FD?
CAN FD allows for 64 bytes and higher data rate in the data phase.
Some advantages of CAN FD (CAN with Flexible Data rate):
1. Fulfills future bandwidth requirements up to 8 Mbit/s at low node cost
2. Allows reuse of the existing CAN wiring in the vehicle
3. Smooth migration by integration CAN FD node in a CAN network

General ES582.1 is integrated native into INCA like any other ETAS HW device.
Supported as of INCA V7.2.3
Supported use cases INCA supports all available CAN protocols on the ES582.1.
ES582.1 supports CAN based measurement modules
Number of devices supported
INCA supports up to four ES582.1 devices at a time.
Flash programming INCA can only use a CAN port for flash programming that is located in the same device that is used for Calibration and Measurement.
