Teacher Access Center

Getting Started:

o Log on to Internet Explorer o At the address bar, type www.sisd.net to access the SISD website:

Step 2: o Select my.sisd.net at the SISD home page:

Step 3:

o Indicate your Username and Password at the prompt; click on login to connect:

Step: 4 o Select Teacher Access Center from the Teacher Tools Menu:

Select Socorro ISD Live Database:

My Home Page:

The Teacher Access Center Home Page allows the teacher to access the Attendance, Gradebook, Report Cards, and Interim Progress Reports screens:

Menu Options: Clicking the links on the left menu allow the teacher to access the Attendance and Grading information:

View Student List: Display class lists Take Attendance: Display Attendance Classes Morning Bulletin: Report of absent students Define Assessments: Display classes to define Gradebook assessments Score Assessments: Display classes to enter Gradebook scores Enter Interim Progress: Display classes for Interim Progress Entry Enter Report Cards: Display classes for Report Card entry E-mail Students/Guardians: Send e-mail to students and/or guardians Select Theme: Alter colors and design of screen Set Enviornment: Return to the login page

My Classes: Courses: Top Grid will display the fields pertaining to the selected link. Click on drop down window to select:

Current MP Courses: Courses meeting in the current marking period Attendance Courses: Courses or homerooms which take attendance Graded Courses: Courses which receive grades All courses

Attendance Date: The date to view attendance RC Run: The current report card run (usually the current marking period) for Report Card grades. IPR Date: The processing date for Interim Progress Reports NEWS Option: Messages sent by the campus administrator My Reports: This section will hold reports generated by the Gradebook program and copies of any e-mails sent to parents and students through Teacher Access Center. Viewing Class Rosters -On the My Home page, click the List link next to the appropriate class in the My Classes section:

Viewing Student Summary List: -Click on a student’s name to display the Student Summary page. This page lists demographic, scheduling, and/or attendance information about the student. You may click the links on this page to view additional student information Student Summary List:

4. -At the List page, select the Report Tab to process a class list report. Select the

Seating ChartTab to view photos of students in a class and to arrange the photos for those students into a seating chart. You can change the order that student photos display by moving photos and save the changes. The seating chart is saved to the database so you can view the seating chart from any computer. Select the Show Options Tab to change how information displays on the Class Roster page, click Show Options Tab and then select any additional information you want to display.

• Show Withdrawn Students: select how withdrawn students are listed. The options are: None (to not display withdrawn students), Alphabetically (to display withdrawn students sorted in alphabetical order within the list of active students), or Grouped (to display withdrawn students grouped at the bottom of the list of students in the class).

• Additional Columns: select the columns to display in the roster. Ctrl+click on the columns you want to include.

• Display Grid: check to display blank grid columns in the Students section of the roster.

• Columns To Display: select the number of columns (1 to 20) to display if you selected to display grid columns.

• Display Attendance Dates: check to display attendance dates for the column heading for the grid columns.

• Start Date: enter the first date to print if you selected to display attendance dates.
