Pool Etiquette• Please follow the lane signs provided• Pass slower swimmers along the centre of the lane• Please swim in the lane suited to your speed and ability• If you have questions or concerns about lane set up, please

speak with a Lifeguard

Family ChangeroomsWe ask any parents/guardians changing children over the age of seven to please use the family changerooms. It is strongly advised you lock up all belongings.

Swim Diapers/Containment BriefsThose not yet potty trained or incontinant must wear a properly fitted swim diaper with swim suit or cover. Please help us reduce our pool closures as it is disappointing for everyone when the pool has to be closed due to pool foulings. For your convenience our Reception Swim Shop sells a variety of children’s swim diapers for just $2.

Camera Usage No cameras, pictures, or video are permitted in the changerooms. Please ask the Lifeguards on duty before taking any pictures in the Pool Area.

The Archives has information on the men and women from Esquimalt who served in World War I. We are dedicated to preserving this and all aspects of our community’s heritage and you can help. If you have material that could help us tell this story, please let us know. Also, we are very interested in finding city directories from the 1950s and 1960s. Did you know, the Archives can help you research your family, your house, your neighbourhood and other interests?
