The intent is to maintain our connection with each other and leverage our existing networks/initiatives.

Option A) Rejuvenate the EAG under new conditions which would support coordination/generate resources for concrete follow-up projects.

Option B) Continue as before with regular calls and connectivity (volunteer approach)

In both instances, we link to existing initiative

Create a new consortium—existing and new participants to be invited Clear mandate/purpose Support structure (JA-YE has accepted invitation to ‘host’

in-kind and will work to raise funds for activity) EAG Website + online networking Leverage our own networks and events/initiatives Link with institutions (EU et al) The consortium would engage in 1 core joint project (to be

agreed) and contribute in specified ways. (we think that a follow-up action on impact/indicators would be a good place to start); perhaps, if the first effort is successful, more projects can be undertaken

Volunteer coordination Linked-in group Leverage EAG events and activities

Discussion: Is this volunteer-based approach really

sustainable longer term? Should we agree to wrap up the EAG now?
