«Empack Zurich 2015 was, overall, a successful show. We had a lot of visitors who posed con-crete requests for solutions. Our stand, which was open on all sides, was very well received by the public. If the economic conditions continue favourably we’ll be back again at the next show. We find the additional show in 2016 on trans-port and logistics to be a thoroughly positive development, because it will attract additional visitor groups. Of course, packaging materials and accessories – and all that – still has to take centre stage.»

There were also a lot of visi-tors here whom we had already met in the con-text of our wide offering for digital and hybrid printing, as well as our packaging materials. At our stand we purposely built a digital supermar-ket display, because we believe that digital print is becoming more important in the pack-aging arena. There is no other packaging show in Switzerland, so Empack, Packaging Innova-tions and Label&Print become the once-yearly central meeting point for the packaging indus-try. Here, in this relatively small space, you have all the key market players – from printers to suppliers to production firms. And that, of course, is interesting!»
