CastoBlast - Breath Freely While Grit Blasting

Grit blasting is an effective way of removing rust, old paint, welding scale and metal impurities. In many cases blasting can replace the need for mechanical or chemical grinding or cleaning. CastoBlast provides a clean surface and good surface profile for various surface treatments including thermal spraying.

Blasting materials often need to be replaced with each use. The CastoBlast recycles blasting material for repeated use, saving on material costs and house-keeping. The CastoBlast separates the dust from the blasting material and captures fine particulates in the filter before fresh air is re-circulated.

The compact design and large wheels make the CastoBlast easy to move around the shop for quick touch-ups on large heavy parts. The modular design makes service and maintenance extremely easy.

By removing the top of the canister, fi lter replacement, motor service and access to the particle separator is quick and simple.

ADVANCED DESIGN FOR EASE OF USE

1. The blasting material accelerates in the nozzle and hits the surface to be blasted.

2. Dust and blasting material is extracted back into the unit.

3. Large particles fall down into the coarse separator and are emptied at service.

4. The blasting material is separated from the dust and recycled.

5. Separately air cooled motor for long lifetime.

6. The motor package is easily disassembled for service and fi lter change.

7. The dust is captured by the particle fi lter before the air is recirculated.

8. The large wheels and the construction of the stand make the unit easy to handle.

9. The blasting material is returned to the gun.

Aluminum Oxide is a sharp, long-lasting abrasive cutting media that can be re-used many times for grit blasting. As an abrasive blasting media, it is harder than most common dry abrasive blast media and will cut even the hardest metals and surfaces. This particular abrasive blasting media comes in a wide range of sizes.

Aluminium Silicate is an iron-free, aggressive blasting material that replaces silica sand. This is used within many areas for cleaning before surface treatment. To be used on steel, glass and ceramics. Suitable for car body work.

Glass Beads is a blasting material made of soda glass and is characterized by high resistance against high impact. Glass beads remove paint, scale and rust without really cutting in to the material itself. Suitable for blasting of glass, aluminium and stainless steel.
