This framework is effective because it includes all sections of the expository, it is sequential, and it encourageB the writer to include sufficient supporting detail. A sufficient number of supporting "bricks" of !3pecific detail will strengthen the pillar; an insufficient number, or bricks that are vague, will weaken the overall structure.
