The Rhein-Ruhr transport association offers a region-wide tariff and coordinates local transport for your daily travel needs.

Online ticket informationDo you often travel by bus and train and are looking for the best ticket for your needs? How much does a Ticket2000 cost? And the BärenTicket? Our online ticket information system has the answers to these questions at www.vrr.de under „Tickets“ . The-re you can enter a starting point and a destination and you will be provided with a suitable ticket recommendation.

Our appDo you use an iPhone or Android smartphone? Then downloadthe VRR app or the app for your transport company now. The app features a modern design and is intuitive to use. Simply enter a starting point and a destination and you will receivetravel itinerary information as well as the option to purchase your ticket directly from the app‘s Ticket Shop. The app also has many practical features and functions. You can customize the app to your personal needs by saving favourites and by perso-nalizing icons and photos. Find out about any travel advisories via push alerts on your smartphone. In addition, any tickets that you frequently purchase can be saved in the Ticket Shop so that they are quickly available when you need them. The new fare check feature is also quite practical. When you save the data for your season pass into the app, you will be automatically infor-med whether you need an additional ticket for a specific bus or train journey when searching for connections.

Notes on validityIf the holiday period begins on a Monday, the SchöneFerien-Ticket NRW is valid starting with the weekend before the official start of the holiday period. If the holiday period ends on a Friday, the SchöneFerienTicket NRW is valid through to the end of Sun-day after the official end of the holiday period.

Short trips are displayed in the electronic timetable and can therefore be purchased straight from the app or the Ticket Shop. Using the app, for example, a 10erTicket (10 trip ticket) for short trips is available for 13.60 euros. For short trips, the following applies:
