2020 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal
Though we are many, we are one in Christ –
Catholic Charities continues its work on the front lines
to serve those most in need through a system of
programs and services that have adapted to meet the
new guidelines. Know that our priests and
parishioners are in our thoughts and prayers and we
all look forward to you getting back into our churches.
Catholic Charities Annual Appeal Phonathon -
Starting 15 June, previous Appeal donors will be
called asking for support for this year’s Annual Appeal.
For homes with caller ID, the number of the call is 216-
696-6525. Last year nearly $200,000 was raised by
phone.

Apelación Anual de Caridades Católicas
Phonathon - A partir del 15 de junio, se llamará a
donantes de las Apelaciones anteriores pidiendo
apoyo para la Apelación Anual de este año. Para los

recaudaron casi 200.000 dólares por teléfono.
WELCOME HOME
AFTER COVID-19 QUARANTINE
Although we have been isolated from each other over
the past few months, we have remained connected to Our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. Through several high-tech tools, we
have been able to support one another in the distance, yet still
experience the closeness of our church family.
This weekend will be our third weekend of the
reopening of public masses. It has been an adjustment with
masks and social distancing, but it is a glimmer of hope that we
are able to celebrate once again the inheritance of the Church,
the Living Word, and the Most Holy Eucharist.
Despite the fact, we continue to face serious concerns
about the outbreak of the pandemic, yet we have the assurance
of the Love of the Father, the Salvation of the Son, and the Gifts
of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray and go on in this journey of a new
beginning of our connection with God and with one another.
One day soon may we have a vaccine that will allow all us to
rejoice the physical oneness as the family of God. Just as the
Israelites rejoiced when they came out of the desert to live in
the Promise Land, we shall too rejoice with praises and
blessings.

DESPUES DE LA CUARENTENA DEL COVID-19
Aunque hemos estado aislados el uno del otro en los
últimos meses, hemos permanecido conectados con Nuestro
Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. A través de varias herramientas
de alta tecnología, hemos sido capaces de apoyarnos unos a
otros en la distancia, pero aun así experimentamos la cercanía
de nuestra familia, la iglesia. Este fin de semana será nuestro
tercer fin de semana de la reapertura de las misas públicas. Ha
sido un ajuste con máscaras y distanciamiento social, pero es
un rayo de esperanza que seamos capaces de celebrar una
vez más la herencia de la Iglesia, el Verbo Divino y la Santísima
Eucaristía.
A pesar del hecho, seguimos enfrentando serias
preocupaciones sobre el brote de la pandemia, pero tenemos
la seguridad del Amor del Padre, la Salvación del Hijo y los
Dones del Espíritu Santo. Oremos y sigamos en este camino

a todos regocijarnos la unidad física como familia de Dios. Así
