families who lived in sanctuary in those
Philadelphia area congregations.
Refreshments will be served.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Come and hear stories about experiences of solidarity and accompaniment in the 1980s sanctuary movement as well as stories about what's going on with the
NEW sanctuary movement and immigration issues in Philadelphia today. We'll be meeting at Tabernacle United Church, which was the first Philadelphia congregation to declare sanctuary status in the 1980s!
