PULPIT

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: The Prophet (S) ascended the pulpit and said: “Ameen, ameen, ameen.” It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said, ‘Ameen, ameen, ameen.” He said: “Jibreel (AS) came to me and said: ‘If Ramadaan comes and a person is not forgiven, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘O Muhammad, if both or one of a person’s parents are alive and he does not honor them and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘If you are mentioned in a person’s presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.”

Our beloved Prophet (S) lived a very simple and modest life. He (S) and his (S) family used to go without cooking meal for several days / even months at a time, relied on only dry dates and water. During the days he (S) was the busiest man, he (S) performed his duties in many roles all at once as head of state, chief justice, commander-in-chief, arbitrator, instructor, preacher and family man. He (S) was the most devoted man at night. He (S) used to spend one- to two-thirds of every night in prayer and meditation [Quran: Surah Al-Muzzammil: 73:20].

Our beloved Prophet’s possession consisted of mats, blankets, jugs and other simple things even when he was the President of the Muslim State. He left nothing to be inherited except a white mule (a gift from Muqawqis), few ammunition and a piece of land that he had got as a gift during his life time.

OUR BELOVED PROPHET(S)

Oh Allah shower Your mercy on our beloved Prophet (S), His family members, His Companions (RA), Tabein, TabeTabein and all His followers who are alive or dead.

Ameen.
