Black History Month

February has been a time to celebrate and honor African-American history.

This Month you will have the opportunity to honor the accomplishments of black Americans or events in American history..

This is a Extra Credit Project

You may select a woman, man or event of Black ancestry and create a presentation about that person or event. It may be a inventor, writer, artist, politician, scientist, historic figure from the past, slave trade voyages, or the fight for freedom.

You will do your presentation

Rubric25 points for your presentation (how well you know your information)

25 Points for your oral presentation

25 points for choosing someone who is not known by the general public.

25 points for creativity ---use of music, good foundation of information, pictures, video clips.

You can get up to 100 points Extra Credit
