    Mick,

The progress you have made in the short time we have been workingtogether has been excellent which I am delighted about.

    Lets recap on the areas we worked on in our last session;

Weight TransferThere is a habit of holding back on impact where you dont fully transferyour weight to your left side, causing you to lose shots to the right andcreates strike inconsistencies.

Sternum right knee to left knee halfswing drill

Address the ball with a Pw with the ball in the middle of the stance. Swing half way back to the 9 oclock position Make sure that you have turned with your upper body and not used

arms and hands to swing the club Once in this position, stop and make sure your sternum is directly

over your right knee and foot as this is your reference to show thatyou have successfully transferred your weight to your right side.

Strike the ball and release the club to the 3 oclock position. Hold this position and make sure your sternum has moved so that it

is directly over your left foot (this again is your reference to see ifyou have transferred your weight successfully to your left sidethrough impact and that you have not held back on it).

Try and keep your left foot planted fully to the floor as there is atendency to rock back onto your heel.

If you dont have time to practice, do the drill designed for you todo at home!

Cross your arms so that your left hand is on your right shoulder andyour right hand is on your left shoulder.

Take your golf stance and posture Rotate back so that your sternum is over your right knee Rotate through and release your body so that your sternum is over

    your left knee

    Alignment

There were some alignment issues where you reverted back to your habitof aiming right of target.

We really need to get your body aligned parallel left of target so that yourclub and body can work in the same direction, promoting an efficient golfswing!

    Pre-Shot Routine

Before each shot, have the same approach as to what we practiced-mentallytalk to yourself through each shot and say what shot you're going to

hit. See the target, then pick a target you want the ball to start on, and

thenselect a target as small as possible (increasing margin for error) 6inchesin front which is online with where you want to start your golf ball.

Then align your club to that target and then align your body parallelleft ofthe target, making sure your feet, knees and shoulders are square.

Try and practice these drills before our next session and remember the

more you practice, the quicker your development will be.

I am really pleased with the way we have started so far so keep up thehard work and remember to just play golf when out on the course andenjoy it!
