FEI DATABASE & REGISTRATION – PAGE 1 www.fei.org FEI DATABASE What is the FEI Database? The FEI Database is a centralised working platform and a register for international equestrian sport. It is used on a daily basis by National Federations, Organising Committees and the FEI. National Federations use the database to organise their horses and athletes by keeping registration and relevant documents up to date. The FEI Database contains basic information about all horses, athletes and officials registered with the FEI, as well as the Rankings and Standings for each discipline. It is also in the database that you will find the FEI Calendar, which lists all past and upcoming FEI Events with their schedules and results when they are available. Please see the “FEI Calendar” section of this document for further details. Who can access the FEI Database? Everyone can access the FEI Database, although not all the content is available to unregistered users. The public can view the FEI Calendar, FEI competitions results, as well as Rankings/Standings and basic information about horses, athletes and Officials (Judges, Course Designers, Technical Delegates, Stewards and Veterinarians). The FEI Database enables National Federations to enter new Events taking place in their countries and register new horses and athletes. They also use the Database to enter their athletes and horses for FEI Events. Organising Committees use the database to manage entries for their Events and upload the results of their competitions. FEI Officials can view the list of entries for the Events they will be working at, while athletes and grooms are able to consult their upcoming entries and past results. FEI REGISTRATION

Who registers with the FEI?

Every horse and athlete competing in FEI competitions needs to have an annual registration with the FEI. Horses and athletes are registered on the FEI Database by their National Federations. What is the information registered used for?

The information supplied by National Federations when they register horses or athletes is used in the FEI Entry System and for FEI Results. It allows the FEI to keep a record of all athletes and horses that take part in international competitions, including any changes made to the information concerning them.
