The Varioterminal – everything in view on your way ahead
With Fendt Variotronic, Fendt presents a new generation of electronic con-trols. The Varioterminal 7" and the large Varioterminal 10.4" offer a convincing user-friendly interface with a flat menu hierar-chy and practical touch technology. For the first time, the tractor controls, automatic steering system and documentation sys-tem, along with other functions, have been united in one terminal and can be control-led with the same operating logic.
Keys or touch?The menu settings in the terminals, both the Varioterminal 7" and the Varioterminal 10.4", can be made conveniently using only the touch-sensitive screen. Both terminals also have navigation keys. You can navigate through the menus using either the keys or the touchscreen. The tractor controls on both terminals are identical.
Variotronic Implement Control All ISOBUS implements can be dis-played clearly in full screen mode and conveniently controlled with touch technology. Up to 12 functions can be controlled at the same time.
Implement and tractor settingsIn the half-screen view, two applica-tions are displayed side by side and can be controlled at the same time. For example, in this way the settings for the implement and the engine and transmission can be optimally matched to each other.
Camera functionsThe Varioterminal features two camera functions with zoom. This, for example, really makes coupling implements much easier. When working with rear-mounted implements, it is not necessary to constantly turn around. In addition to comfort, this provides greater safety, since the camera allows you to look into blind areas.
Screen layoutUp to four applications can be dis-played simultaneously on the Varioterminal 10.4". You can easily choose and change the arrangement of the applications on the screen as you wish.

Do everything with one terminal
You can choose between the 7" or 10.4" Varioterminal to match your needs. Both terminals offer easy to operate tractor and implement controls and the Variotronic TI headland management. The large terminal also allows you to operate the VarioGuide automatic steering system featuring a clearly laid out map view, the VarioDoc documentation system and external camera images.
ISOBUS (ISO 11783) compliant implement controlIn the new Varioterminal you can define indi-vidual settings for each ISO 11783 compliant implement as well as for several operators and save them under a custom name. Once con-figured, each individual setting can be loaded very easily and edited, if required. An addition-al terminal, which can obstruct your view and run up extra costs, is not necessary.
The Varioterminal 10.4" – a terminal for all cases Despite the higher number of functions that are now completely integrated in the Varioterminal 10.4", operation remains easy and intuitive. The large screen with a 10.4 inch (26.4 cm) screen diagonal, guarantees easy recognition of up to four viewable application areas. A full screen mode is also available for map view, camera images and the ISOBUS implement control.
The Varioterminal 7" – the convenient solution for tractor and implement controlThe Varioterminal 7" permits easy tractor and implement operation. The display, which has a seven-inch (17.8 centimetre) screen diagonal, guarantees an excellent overview over all the settings to be made. The Varioterminal 7" can be operated per touchscreen or using the navigation keys.

Headland Management Variotronic TIThe new Variotronic TI headland management allows operators to create turning manoeuvres very easily, while the tractor is standing or driving, and then saves them for the speci� c implement. The entire operating sequence is shown along with the corresponding triggers and values, such as the sec-onds or the distance to the next step, which makes it easy for operators to understand the procedure. Individual steps in the operating sequence can be edited at a later time.

Variotronic TI headland management The Variotronic TI headland management is fully integrated in the Varioterminal and is shown clearly laid out in the display. With just a touch of a button, operators can activate automated operating sequences at the head-lands. To optimise the progression of the steps, they can be edited and adjusted individually. Variotronic TI saves you time at the headlands and prevents possible operating errors on long work days.

The new VarioGuide steering system, devel-oped by Fendt, guarantees maximum reli-ability thanks to new satellite technology. This means relaxed working conditions over longer periods of time, whether by day or night. It allows you to concentrate fully on the implement.Even when visibility is poor, precise driving is no a problem. That means shorter work-ing times and lower consumption of fuel and inputs, such as seeds or pesticides.
VarioGuide – even more profitableVarioGuide enables the highest possible utili-sation of the machine, because you can even work at night or when visibility is poor due to dust or fog, and still achieve an optimum result. At the same time, area coverage is sig-nificantly increased, since the number of skips and overlaps is reduced. The highly efficient use of crop inputs with VarioGuide provides savings of up to three to ten percent, depend-ing on the working procedure.
The greatest share of costs in arable farming can be attributed to variable costs. These are directly correlated to the area to be worked. With VarioGuide, machines and implements can be utilised more e� ectively, which reduces variable costs for the crop inputs used.
For grain, the savings potential with VarioGuide lies at up to four percent of the variable costs. Extrapolated to a market crop production business with 500 hectares (75% wheat and barley, 25% oilseed rape), this saves a total of some 8,000 euros per year (sources: KTBL).
When using VarioGuide, operators can concentrate fully on the implements, since they are not occupied with steering the tractor. This increases operator performance and has a positive e� ect on the overall working quality.
Faster turning manoeuvres, since � elds can be cul-tivated bed-by-bed, and paths are found quickly and precisely. This is all possible with VarioGuide, even under poor visibility conditions such as at night, in fog and dust or during pre-emergence work.

VarioGuide helps you perform field work efficiently, even on long working days. VarioGuide is available in various accuracy levels to match the requirements of your operations. The modular design of the sys-tem allows updating to a higher accuracy level at any time. You can still continue to use the same system components and saved settings.
Always on the right trackIn addition to the OmniSTAR correction signal and the mobile reference station with a range of up to three to five kilometres, there are also other correction signal services available: the free European signal EGNOS, a stationary RTK station with a transmitting capacity of up to 30 kilometres, as well as Ntrip with reception over a mobile communications network. This way you can put together the optimum signal to meet the requirements of your business.

VarioDoc and VarioDoc Pro – The professional documentation system
Documentation is the most important basis for economic analyses in agricultural busi-nesses today. The legal and social require-ments for recording data are also growing ever more. With the new VarioDoc, this data can be recorded with a minimum of effort and time, documented in the field record and analysed.
Modern job management VarioDoc is the solution for efficient job man-agement and convenient data recording for farming businesses and contractors. Using the Varioterminal, all relevant information can already be entered in the field so that follow-up work in the office is reduced to a minimum. And it works the other way around, too – new jobs can be created using the PC and trans-ferred to the terminal.
All data are transferred wirelessly to the o� ce PC and automatically saved. Bother-some exporting of data with a memory card is no longer required. Data loss is therefore a thing of the past.
Easy documentation with VarioDoc or VarioDoc ProVarioDoc ensures e� cient job management for your business. The basic version is included in the Varioterminal 10.4" as standard. The enhanced version VarioDoc Pro also o� ers recording of position data via GPS, including tractor parameters, and data transfer via mobile network. Operators can also choose between automated data recording and job management. It is controlled using the VarioDoc menu in the Varioterminal. All data are displayed concisely and easy to understand.

Secure data exchangeJust one single synchronisation procedure is all that is needed to update data on both the PC and terminal. Then you have all the current master data, such as on pesticide or fertiliser use, available on board and you can react to changing conditions swiftly. Convenient data exchange via Bluetooth or mobile communi-cations network guarantees a secure trans-fer. Jobs are saved in the terminal until the exchange has been completely finished.
Compatible with several field databasesThe open ISOXML Standard enables data exchange with field files from suppliers such as BASF, Helm, Land-Data Eurosoft and agrocom. Fendt is therefore the first to offer a documentation system that is compatible with several different field database files.
