Special Event SupportIn 2013 Field Services provided 1,571 staff hours to support campus events.

Support Commuter ProgramsIn 2013 Field Services provided over 300 staff hours to support our commuter programs.

1. Vanpool (drop off and pick up vans for service)

2. Biannual Bicycle Utilization Counts

Support Commuter ProgramsIn 2013 Field Services provided over 300 staff hours to support our commuter programs.

1. Vanpool (drop off and pick up vans for service)

2. Biannual Bicycle Utilization Counts

3. Cutting bike locks for customers who lost their key

4. Annual abandoned bike pick up, storage, and sale

Motorist Assistance

In 2013 Field Services provided assistance to 559 customers

Some examples of assistance we provide:

1. Help getting vehicles dug out of the snow

2. Battery jump starts

3. Help locating a customer’s vehicle (354 in 2013)

Intra-departmental mailField Services makes intra-departmental mail runs two times per day, five days per week.

This allows for our Fleet Services, Parking Services, Commuter Programs, Parking Operations, Cambus, and Administrative units to communication for efficiently and provide faster service to our customers.

We receive campus mail from Mail Services twice per day.

Field Services supports Parking Operations in a number of ways.

1. Parking utilization counts two times per day. Every lot on campus is counted for capacity, twice per day.

Enforcement of Parking Rules and Regulations

With the little time that’s remaining we issue parking citations.

In FY13 we received approximately $469,000 in parking citation revenue.

In FY13 our Field Services salaries and fringe were approximately $773,000
