Field Trip Permission Slip to

Country Springs (Water Park) 2018

The entire 6th

grade will be going to The Country Springs Water Park on our last day of

school (Friday, June 8) to celebrate our successes and look forward to 7th

grade. Please

fill out the permission slip below, cut it off, and return it with your child.

What: field trip to Country Springs Water Park. Licensed lifeguards will be on duty and

20 or so staff members will be chaperoning.

When: June 8 (last day of school). Leaving WHMS at 9:00 am, returning around 2:00

pm. The children will be dismissed from school at regular dismissal time (2:31) and go

home from school as they usually would.

Price: Write checks to WHMS ($11/child). This pays for water park and bus.

Items to pack: Each child should bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, and small

bag to hold belongings. Please wear an appropriate swimsuit. A one piece suit is

preferred for the girls. There will NOT be lockers available to us. We suggest a plastic,

waterproof bag for personal belongings and change of clothes. PLEASE, NO LARGE

BILLS…WE DON’T WANT MONEY TO BE LOST/STOLEN.

Lunch: A bag lunch/beverage is needed. We will eat at WHMS before we leave. Your

child may also purchase a snack/lunch at the hotel café if he/she chooses.

Optional items: Money for the arcade. The arcade is like Chucky-Cheese where you

can earn tickets to redeem for small prizes. Flip flops. Sun block….there is a sun deck in

the back area of the pool.

If your child can not swim, there is an arcade and we will also provide alternative fun

(board games/cards/Ipads) There is also a basketball pool that remains at a 3 foot depth.
