Research of Magazines

• When looking into film magazines, it became clear there was two film magazines which were popular than the rest these were Empire and Total Film.

• Empire primarily reviews action movies and I found no specific examples of a comedy movie on the cover this led me to lean more towards creating a cover using Total Film as my magazine title as I was able to find a specific example of a magazine cover based on a comedy film.

My Magazine

• When Creating my poster I knew that the magazine needed a picture, a list of features, a title and a barcode

• I made sure my magazine cover had all of these features as mine had a close up photo, a barcode, upcoming film titles, and I used the Total Film as the title for my magazine but I couldn’t just copy the logo so I had to edit and create my own replica of the Total film logo.
