Also known as ‘hard-boiled

The PI or Private

Detective plays a key role

in many noir films. I hope

to investigate and brand

an existing PI in either

LA, NYC or San Fran.

I plan to use the shadowed

aesthetic of noir and

the nature of a PI’s

profession to create

suspense and mystery in a

branding practice.

I’ve never experimented

withw light, shadow and

illumination in order to

create an effect. This

seems ideal for the topic

in hand.

Again relates to the focus

on light in noir. Also

interesting technique when

thinking about branding

for an illusive private

investigator.

This would be vital to

achieve the desired

effect from the other 3

processes, a light source.

Projecting also allows for

large scale image & text.

Never done it before but

would fit well with this

concept and the other

processes stated.
