MASK MAKINGThis project is to explore the inner personalities and translate / interpret them into physical form. The main material is foam sheet with different colours to convey different moods. Foam sheets are cut into desired shapes and

joined together by stiching method.

My design concept is inspired by Aung San Suu Kyi, chairperson of the National League for Democ-racy, a freedom fighter from Burma. She had been arrested in Burma for many years. On March 27 1999, while Aung San Suu Kyi was in Burma, Her husband was dead from cancer in London and She was not able to meet him for the very last time. The design concept reflects the ‘freedom’ which Suu Kyi pursuits and tears

towards her bitter life.

The proposed site is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, between Sungai Kelang.

The formalization of the glass wall enclosure is interpreted from the existing site. The building is shaped by the site forces, adopting to it and

performs.

The clubhouse allows hikers to have their pre-hiking preparation in Penang National park.It is designed with different height levels attaching to the contour. Existing hiking trail cuts

the Clubhouse to form 2 masses to further encourage interaction of hikers and activities.Design Concept is based on Cannonball plant found at site.

We are the water, not the hard diamond,the one that is lost, not the one that stands still.

We are the river and we are that greekthat looks himself into the river.

His reflection changes into the waters of the changing mirror, into the crystal that changes like the fire.

We are the vain predetermined river,in his travel to his sea.

The shadows have surrounded him.Everything said goodbye to us, everything goes away.

Memory does not stamp his own coin.

However, there is something that stayshowever, there is something that bemoans.

The project is to explore the journey of 5 senses, or even the 6th sense of the human -memory, based on the poem. Although human experience the same environment or space that we created, each individual might have different perception due to his/ her memory of the past.

Folded & slanting walls forms a narrow tunnel-like entry to creates sense of

pressure.

Visual linkage is formed from different level of paths. Sound

of water induces calming effect, sense of relief.

Curiosity is developed while passing through curvy,

shaded region formed by overhead planes.
