God Created the Spirit Beings

Introduction

Where did the angels come from?

Where did Satan come from?

Who can answer these questions?Only God

God created all the spirits In the beginning, God created the spirit

All were created God gave them life

John 1:3 God is greater than the spirits

Lived before them eternally Gave them life

Don’t have bodies Can move about where they want Not everywhere at the same time Sometimes show themselves

Spirits were created to serve God Heb. 1:14 Why did God create the

spirits? In beginning, all were

angels Angel means “servant”

or “messenger” God created them, so

belonged to Him Created to do what

God wanted them to do

Spirits were created perfect by God

Ezekiel 28:15 All were created

perfect, none were evil Everything God says

and does is perfect God never has and

never will sin

Spirits were created with great wisdom and strength Psalm 103:20 Angels are intelligent

But not all-knowing like God

Angels are stronger than we But not all-powerful like

God God is wiser and

stronger than all spirits

Spirits are innumerable

Impossible for us to count the spirits

Rev. 5:11 How could God

create so many good, strong, wise spiritsHe is almighty

Spirits lived in Heaven

All spirits lived in Heaven with God in the beginning

Where is Heaven? Don’t know Not here on earth A real place mentioned in

Lucifer was before God in Heaven

Some angels created more beautiful, intelligent, wise than others

Lucifer Named “morning star” God gave Lucifer important

Lucifer’s rebellion

Lucifer should have loved, obeyed, served God

Isaiah 14:13-14 Wanted to be like “most High” Rebelled against God First created being to do evil

How could a perfectly-created being rebel? God allows choice Angels are not like robots

Other angels rebelled with Lucifer

Many angels followed Lucifer, their leader

Rebelled against God too

God knew about their plans

Isaiah 14:13-14“you have said in

your heart…” Created them, knew

their inmost thoughts Nothing can be kept

secret from God

God removed Lucifer Lucifer lost his position

No longer God’s servant Compare to national rebellion

Would our president allow it? God would not allow Lucifer to take His

position The only true God

Lucifer’s followers also lost their positions No longer God’s servants In constant rebellion

God is perfect Would not let them continue in His presence

Where are they now? Can still speak to God in Heaven

Job 1:6-7 No longer live in Heaven

God prepared place of punishment

punishment God will send Lucifer

and his angels there God will not tolerate

Lucifer and his angels hate God

Lucifer and followers hate God

Fight against God and everything He does

Satan means “enemy, adversary, opponent”

Satan is God’s enemy Fights God day and night Demons help oppose

God

Where are they now?

Satan and his demons no longer live in Heaven

Roam all over the earth

Conclusion

Most High God, creator of everything

Greater than all Angels Satan & demons

Perfect in all He does Only God can tell us

about the beginning He was the only one

there!
