One of the games which children were encouraged to play on Chanukkah was the Dreidel which is a symbolic view of the universe as a cube on a pyramid functioning as a top.

e) They leàd to holy books: Vedas – which like wine of the sun (sura) should be imbibed and lived.

f) They led to study of both cosmic and social laws, to science and knowedge.

So the initation into the mysteries of the sacred threads was linked with creation itself, with the creation of language, stories of cosmic struggles and balance, metaphysical and physical.

There is a much older story than Greece that includes a whole area between Middle and Far East that we have forgotten.

We need new webs

to rediscover the matrices of their knowledges

and

to understand the many webs of culture.
