They have learned 5 Senses Poem, 5Ws Poem, Question Poem, Couplet Poem, Memory Poem, and List Poem. Math This week students are Reviewing all their skills from this year, preparing for their End of the Year Test Friday Monday: Centers and Review of 2D & 3D Shapes Tuesday: Centers & Story Problem Practice Wednesday: Centers & Basic Facts Games Thursday: Centers & Basic Facts Games Friday: Centers & Addition BINGO Reminders The classroom is OUT of SNACKS, could you please donate snacks and if you can do more that would be great!!! Thank you to the parents who are helping out!!! There is no more HOMEWORK for the remainder of the year. NO SCHOOL ~ Monday, May 30, 2016 ~ Memorial Day Friday, June 3, 2016 will be our classroom “CAMP READ-A-LOT DAY”- students will be able to bring in sleeping bags, favorite blankets, pillows, teddy bear, anything that will enhance them to read more. Student Of The Week Kinley H. Kinley has been doing a great job in class. She is getting all her work done, staying out of trouble, and still giving a 100% even though we are so close to the end of the year. She is showing greatness for becoming a 2 nd grader. I am so very proud of her. Keep up the good work Kinley and continue to be a Southern View S.T.A.R. Social Studies: Students will begin the their last unit of Economics. They will learn all about the importance of Wants & Needs, Goods & Services, and Community Helpers.
