READ Read the following passage for this upcoming Sunday’s Gospel three times very slowly somewhere quiet.

Matthew 18:15-20 Jesus said to his disciples: “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.  If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that ‘every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church.  If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector. Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again, amen, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

REFLECT Meditate on the passage by sitting in silence and allowing a word or phrase to jump out at you. Perhaps you even put yourself in the scene. What is God saying to you through this?

Food and Personal Care Drive-Thru Saturday, September 12 • 9:00am-11:00am

For this drive we are helping where the need is the greatest right now. We are supplementing homeless take-away meals and personal care items for homeless ministries and the St. Francis Outreach Center in Portsmouth.

Granola bars, individual bags of chips, crackers, cookies, gummies, nuts, dried fruits, trail mix, homemade cookies in bags of 2 or 3, bottled water. Soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, disposable razors, shaving cream, baby wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, feminine hygiene, pet food.

Ablaze Family Faith Formation Begins September 13

Ablaze is designed to reinvigorate the family as a place of faith and celebration in the life of St. Catharine families. And it's for ALL families of the parish, both School and PSR. Ablaze is structured around two pillars: Faith and Feasting.
