Register Now Exciting times are coming to St. Matthew Catholic School. You do not want to miss out on a week of pure fun and exhilaration. Students will immerse themselves in science, which encourages hands-on discovery, working in teams, engaging in investigations, and taking on engineering challenges that combine science, technology, engineering, and math. Flight School students will develop an understanding of the properties of flight and the multiple forces at play as they fold, blow, throw, shoot, and stomp flying contraptions of their own design. Elements of robotics will also be a part of the class. Students are encouraged to ask questions and write in their journal. What makes an object move? Can we control the movement? Does the strength of a push or pull have an effect? How about the direction of the push or pull? What happens when objects move past each other or collide? How does gravity affect flight? Come and join us to find the answers to these concepts of force and motion. John MacLaren, “The Science Coach” is well known to have camps that blow your mind, and are highly educational. Your student will have so much fun, they will be begging for more. Contact Coach John MacLaren 210-854-2352 www.JrDoctor.org SMCS STEM / Robotics Summer Camp
