PERRICONE JUICES MAKES MIRACLES AT L.A. ANGELS GAME DONATING $53,000+ TO MIRACLES FOR KIDS

Home Runs for Kids program raises $53,750 for OC-based nonprofit, Miracles for Kids

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (October 1, 2019) – Through the Second Annual Home Runs for Kids Program, Perricone Juices has donated more than $53,000 to Miracles for Kids, a Southern California-based nonprofit organization that helps families of children diagnosed with critical illnesses by providing financial and emotional support. At the start of the season, Perricone Juices agreed to donate $250 for every Angels homerun during the regular baseball season and is able to make a tremendous impact for Miracles for Kids thanks to the L.A. Angels’ successful season with more than 200 home runs to date.

On Thursday, September 26, before the Los Angeles Angels game against the Houston Astros, Bob Rovzar, CEO and Partner of Perricone Juices presented Miracles for Kids Co-founder and CEO, Autumn Strier along with fellow Miracles for Kids board member Mike Meyer with the generous check for $53,750 at Angels Stadium in Anaheim. This donation surpassed last year’s Home Runs for Kids program which raised a total of $50,000 for the nonprofit.

19-year-old Yovani Leon, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, was in attendance at the game, along with his family who receives support from Miracles for Kids. Leon is a huge fan of the L.A. Angels and following the check presentation, he had the privilege of throwing the honorary first pitch to Angels first baseman Jared Walsh. “Our team is beyond thankful to Perricone Juices and Angels Baseball for their ongoing support of Miracles for Kids and the Home Runs for Kids Program,” notes Strier. “This year’s program has not only helped to create a lifelong memory for Yovani and his family who were able to enjoy an extraordinary day away from the typical hospital visits, but it will also provide additional Miracles for Kids families with an incredible sense of relief and support.”
