Ford Mondeo 2.0 litre Turbo Diesel Models This bulletin is to clarify the information required to correctly identify the RepSet and Dual Mass Flywheel fitted to these vehicles. Increasing amount of calls to the Technical Hotline is demonstrating some confusion on this vehicle especially as the information required is not usually included on VRM look up databases. Additional Information is required… 1. Number of Gears (5 or 6 speed) 2. Engine power output KW/PS (this can be found on the label under the bonnet as indicated below).

Important information When replacing the Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel carry out a comparison of the new and old parts. Clutch friction plate should be checked for the correct diameter. Dual Mass Flywheel the crank pick up sensor ring on the back of the flywheel should be checked for the correct width and number of teeth. If the incorrect Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel are fitted the vehicle will not start.
. Production date (the catalogue identifies production date and not registration date). The production date
code is the 11th and 12th digits in the chassis (VIN) number this can be converted to the production date by using the conversion chart below.
