Recap: Renesmee’s POV“Visitors…right now?” I wondered out loud….

Chapter Ten

“Not the Volturi, is it?” I wanted to know. Alice shook her head, smiling. I sighed in relief.

“Should I warn the pack or what?” Jacob asked. For a second, I forgot that he was in the room as he never spoke anything.

“NO!” Alice yelled at him “Our visitors are going to be a surprise, so don’t ruin it for Nessie!”

Surprise? What was wrong with Alice and my family? Couldn’t they see that I was injured as heck?

“What? Surprise?” I questioned her with curiosity but her smile never faded away.

“Yes, you’ll see” She smirked “Now, wear something nice; and Jacob, get your wolfy butt out of this room, so that she could change!”

With that, Alice left. Jacob and I exchanged a confused look.

“Can I… go out? I-I mean, will you be okay?” Jacob stuttered. I wanted to laugh at his awkwardness but I restrained myself, knowing that it would hurt him.

“Yes, Mr. Black. You can get out so that I could change!” I said and then Jacob sighed and walked towards the door.

He looked at me over his shoulder and looked reluctant. My heart started beating faster and when he left… It started aching for him.

I sighed. Will he ever find out what he was doing to me? … I wish he did.

I got up from my bed, without straining my injured arm. Thank God, I could heal faster. I reached my wardrobe and took a look at my clothes

Hm, I wonder why Alice didn’t leave a choice for me in dressing today…

But I just ended up choosing a soft red sundress. It seemed comfortable for me.

I yelped many times while putting the dress on. Finally, I succeeded in doing it. Before I was going downstairs, I took a look at the mirror and huffed at my arm.

I reached for the door and then to the tricky stairs. God knows how I was going to get down these stairs…

But it was easier than I’d thought. My available arm had a firm grip of the sides of the stairs. When I successfully went past two steps, Jacob quickly made his way to the stairs and tried to support my body. I looked at his warm, dark brown eyes and all I saw was… worry.

Worry that could never be replaced with anything but love.

Jacob carefully brought me all the way to the floor. Dad cleared his throat when he caught me staring at Jacob. I blushed.

“Hey, when are they supposed to show up exactly anyways?” Emmet asked, loudly. Alice stiffened for a second.

“In approximately 2 sec- They’re here!” Alice exclaimed, happily. But, what…? I seemed like an outsider standing in there, without knowing who I was about to meet!

Alice went out of the door while the rest of us waited, anxiously. Suddenly, we heard the rough and deep voice of a woman “Hello, all!”

For a second, I could recognize that voice. It was Zafrina! One of my ‘vampire friends’ whom I met before 7 years.

Now, she’s back.

With another new masculine scent that I couldn’t even recognize…

“Where’s my little Renesmee?” I heard Zafrina ask. But I just couldn’t concentrate on anything because this new mysterious scent was… confusing me.

Zafrina gasped in amazement when she spotted me, “Oh my! Is this the Renesmee that I’ve been playing with a long time ago? Look how beautiful you are!” She spoke in a pure Latin accent. I couldn’t help but blush. I’ve been blushing too frequently nowadays.

“I… missed you, Zafrina” I said, awkwardly. Zafrina took a quick glance at my injured arm and then said “I missed you too, child”

“So did I”

...

It was not Zafrina, this time. I heard the deep voice of an unknown male; A voice which I longed to know to whom it belonged to…

Zafrina moved aside allowing a handsome man to step in. Nahuel.

My breath caught. I felt as if the wind had been knocked out of me.

He was… beautiful. He had the dark looks of a Latin man, but he was still good-looking. His eyes were dark and

reminded me of fresh warm teak. He had beautiful russet-colored skin, which seemed to glow, just like his pearly white set of teeth. I heard dad growl slightly at my keen observation of him and I looked down, embarrassed.

It was still surprising how I remembered Nahuel, even after all these years. But, how could I forget someone who had saved my life, seven years back?

“Hello, Renesmee” Nahuel greeted, his voice deep and strikingly musical. He smiled warmly at me, and it seemed to illuminate the entire room.

Wait. What was I even thinking? I was in love with Jacob! Not Nahuel! I was nuts to even think of Nahuel like that. But I couldn’t control my thoughts…

My eyes widened immediately, as I just stood there awkwardly without saying anything back to him. “Hey… Nahuel” I greeted, slightly dazed.

“It’s been such a long time since I last saw you” Nahuel remarked “You’ve blossomed into quite an exuberant young woman since then” He added with a grin and glanced at Jacob, before looking back at me.

Jacob looked… well, not good. He looked pale, with his fists clenched so tightly that if anything was in his hands, it would have probably been broken by now. He was shaking slightly too.

He was angry. Not at me, but at Nahuel.

“I got it!” Jasper said and he was quickly at Jacob’s side, whispering “Calm down, Jacob”

How… weird.

“Anyway” Dad cleared his throat and looked at Zafrina and Nahuel “Mind to tell us about the main reason which brought the both of you to Forks?”

Nahuel looked hesitant. Zafrina sighed, sadly. I wondered what they both were thinking…

“Nahuel’s sisters have gone… missing”

An answer came out of Zafrina’s mouth, finally. Mom, Grandma, Alice, Rosalie and I gasped loudly. Nahuel’s sisters are missing? As in, disappeared all of a sudden without any clues?

“Nahuel…” Dad trailed “That must be awful!” Nahuel’s eyes met mine for a second and he gave me a slight sad smile. I pitied him. I knew that his three hybrid sisters and a vampire named Huilen were the only ones left in his family, after his father Johan had greatly abandoned him.

Now, he had lost them too.

“Don’t worry, Nahuel. We’re there for you” Grandpa Carlisle consoled him and sighed “We’ve been coming across new scents lately. Jacob and his pack are helping us. We’ll find your three sisters, Nahuel”

Nahuel nodded, frowning slightly.

“Oh, well” Grandma Esme started “We can deal with all of this later. Now, our guests might be hungry… Aren’t you?” She asked Nahuel and Zafrina.

“I already fed, thank you” Zafrina replied politely. She was not a vegetarian vampire like us. She fed on human blood, like the rest of her coven- The Amazon coven.

Nahuel chuckled “I am a little hungry. And don’t worry, I’m getting used to my Vegetarian diet like how your beautiful

grand-daughter is” He winked at me. Grandma Esme’s golden eyes widened in amazement.

Redness covered my cheeks and my face was literally on fire.

But everything seemed to vanish when I once again heard Jacob snarl like a ferocious animal. Everyone’s eyes were on him.

But Jacob just glared at Nahuel and said “Jasper… I think you might need to stay with me today”

Jasper smiled at Jacob and sighed.

“I was counting on it, Jacob”

The lunch was prepared by none other than my grandma Esme. Surprisingly, Jacob sat next to me before anyone else could. I couldn’t help but smile at how possessive he could be sometimes.

Nahuel sat across the table, avoiding Jacob as much as he could. I was happy about that for some reason.

“When was the last time you saw your sisters, Nahuel?” Mom asked. Nahuel quickly looked up from his plate and answered, “I don’t remember exactly. It was a long time ago. They went hunting and they never came back. Zafrina and I searched them for… months”

Curiosity filled the room. My family exchanged glances.

“How does Nessie measure up to them, Nahuel?” Emmet asked teasingly, to avoid the tension filling in the room. I narrowed my eyes at him. This was NOT a good joke!

“She is twice as beautiful”, Nahuel said, staring intently at me now.

Oh, my…

Jacob dropped his fork that he was folding. The whole table started to shake and I gasped, “Jacob…”

He got up from his chair, now looking at Nahuel angrily, “That’s it, you little creep. I can’t cope up with your sick flirtations anymore! Get out of here before I get upset!” It was a warning; but Nahuel didn’t seem to get scared. He spoke back.

“It’s not flirting. It’s called being nice and I’m sure that she is none of business… mutt.”

Jacob growled. Jasper quickly rushed over to Jacob, trying to make him calm. But he got worse.

“Renesmee, take Nahuel outside. We’ll try to convince Jacob” Dad said, as I looked at Jacob worriedly.

“Okay…” I trailed off and went out, with Nahuel following me.

“You let her go with HIM?!” I heard Jacob yell at my dad. I didn’t understand why he was acting like this. He was being too rude.

Maybe, he was just… jealous? Some part of me wished that he was.

Woah.

“Your friend seems a little… Unstable” Nahuel’s voice cleared my thoughts. I looked around us. There was nothing but clean, green grass and the earthy smell of nature. We were in the woods.

“He… He’s got some temper issues” I gave a foolish reply and sighed, “I’m sorry about him”

“It’s okay. I know where he’s coming from” Nahuel gave me a slight smile. His eyes quickly shot to my injured arm, “What happened?”

I didn’t know how to reply. It was Jacob who caused it. For some reason, I was afraid to tell Nahuel the truth.

After a few minutes, Nahuel’s eyes widened in realization “He did it, didn’t he?” Nahuel said, his tone slightly different than usual, “He lost control, right?”

It was obvious that Nahuel knew about Jacob and the shape-shifters. He knew how emotionally unstable they were too. I just nodded to answer his question, feeling uncomfortable about the subject.

There was a long pause after that.

“What are the names of your sisters?” I asked, trying to change the subject. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be asking-”

“Maysun, Serena and Jennifer- They are my half-sisters” He replied quickly.

“Oh” I didn’t know what else to say. Without knowing, I started staring at Nahuel. He was very… handsome. No, good-looking was appropriate. Hybrids are inhumanly beautiful in nature but Nahuel seemed… different.

Everything about him seemed to draw me towards him. Oh my god, something is definitely wrong with me today!

“Renesmee… would you mind if I show you something?” Nahuel asked with a slight smile on his face. I looked at him, questioningly. He smiled and looked at me deeply.

Suddenly, images flashed in my mind. At first, it was all blurry but then everything was clear.

I saw three girls, laughing and giggling in a forest. The first one was taller than the rest and looked more… brave. The other two girls were short but beautiful. The three of them had flawless tan skin and shiny black hair like Nahuel.

It was weird how they all looked similar to Nahuel. It took a moment for me to realize that:

They were Nahuel’s sisters.

I gasped and started breathing heavily, “What did you do?!” I asked Nahuel but it came out as a shout. Nahuel slightly stumbled backwards at my voice.

“I thought you already knew… That is my power” Nahuel explained softly. His… what? I thought he did not have a power.

“I gained my power once I hit puberty” He said “It took a long moment for me to realize. But then I improved”

“Wow” was all I could say. Nahuel continued his explanation.

“We both have similar abilities – projecting thoughts into one’s mind. But I am different. I can project images directly just by looking at them. Even if the person is sleeping”

“Who were the three girls that you showed me?” I asked “Your sisters?”

Nahuel didn’t reply. He just nodded.

“They‘re so beautiful…” I mumbled. Nahuel chuckled.

“Once my sisters are found…” His voice sounded thick so he cleared his throat and continued “I will gladly take you to Chile, where you can meet them in person”

I smiled. Before I could answer Nahuel, a thundering voice answered…

“The hell you will”

Note: Alrighty, it’s guessing time! Who said those words in the end? Clue: He is a hottie and you all looove him!

So, what do you all think? Good or sucky chapter? I wrote this with a lot of confusion and I know that this is not my best!

I also want to apologize for being too absent on Scribd, lately. I’m also sorry that this chapter turned out to be so short and simple (Some of you might have had expectations…) don’t worry; I’ll try to make things good in the next chappie
