2018 FOUNDATION REVIEW
Dear Friends,
This annual review once again gives me the great joy of celebrating your ongoing support of United Methodist students. In 2018, your generosity allowed the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) to award over $2.3 million in scholarships. These funds helped 1,040 students attend United Methodist-related colleges, universities, and seminaries.
In addition to scholarships, your gifts also allowed students to stay connected to the church during their education, minimize or eliminate educational debt, and study in faith-based communities as they discerned callings of service and leadership within The United Methodist Church.
As you read the notes of gratitude from a few UMHEF scholarship recipients found within this report, join me in giving thanks for the reach of your generosity shown in the figures. You are a vital part of our community of donors that makes an amazing difference in the lives of many.
Thank you for supporting United Meth-odist students and being a part of the amazing UMHEF family.
