Excess pieces, sizes and weights can be cumulative. There may be a service charge to buy excess baggage allowance in airports where there is no Alitalia ticket desk.
For tickets bought with the Light fare (Rome-Paris and vice versa; Milan Linate-Paris and vice versa) there is a charge for hold baggage. From Rome and Milan Linate:
- EUR 15 online during online check-in - EUR 20 calling the Customer Center, at airport ticket desks and travel agencies Departing from Paris:
- EUR 15 at the fast check-in desks and at the airport ticket office

CHILDREN’S ALLOWANCE
Infants up to 23 months: 10 kg allowance. Children from 2 to 11 years of age inclusive: same allowance as adults. Strollers are transported free of charge for children up to and including 11 years of age in all travel classes and to all destinations.
Notes: 1. Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East, North Africa (Premium Economy class is not available) 2. North Africa (Algiers, Cairo, Casablanca, Tripoli, Tunis) 3. Middle East (Amman, Beirut, Abu Dhabi, Teheran and Tel Aviv) 4. West Africa (Accra, Lagos); from/to West Africa: only 2 pc allowed 5. Middle East (Beirut, Abu Dhabi, Teheran, Cairo and following not operated points: Syria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen 6.
