Important LGHS Facts

All freshman year courses are year-long. Each course equates to 5 units per semester; freshmen

generally earn 60-70 units during ninth grade. 220 units and fulfillment of all subject-specific requirements is

the graduation minimum. A minimum grade of D- is required to earn units toward

graduation; four-year colleges and universities require a minimum grade of C- for most courses.

Failed courses earn no units, but are calculated in the GPA and remain on the transcript.
