Our Mission

We believe that only the Egyptian people can bring itself social justice.

That is why the people of Egypt need the power to choose its own government and have the ability

to monitor how that government is performing.

That is what is called democracy. Our mission is to obtain it for the Egyptian people.

Our Vision for the People of EgyptOur vision is for the Egyptian people to enjoy prosperity and social justice through democracy and

democratic rights.

Our Strategic Goals From Tahrir to the Egyptian People

The way towards our Vision goes through reaching our strategic goals.

We need to get the Egyptian people to understand that in a true democracy the government need

the peoples support in order to remain in power, and that this makes the interests of the people the

interests of government.

The peoples understanding of this is crucial in order to get people to elect parties, individual

members of parliament and presidents and in referendums only accept constitutions that support

true democracy.

The peoples understanding of this will also bring public support to protests and uprisings. The

current regime fears protests and uprisings that are supported by the people because they are afraid

that they can accelerate into a regime-toppling revolution.

The grassroots activists of Egypt much reach out from Tahrir to the Egyptian people.

Therefor our strategic goals are public demand for the three key pillars of democracy in Egypt: the

power to choose Egypts parliament and government, freedom of speech and ban on governmental

propaganda.

Public Demand for the Power to Choose Egypts Parliament and

GovernmentOur first strategic goal is for the people of Egypt to understand their need to have a parliament,

elected by the people, with absolute legislative power, the power to choose and remove Egypts

government and the power to approve or reject Egypts annual budget presented by the

government.

Public Demand for Freedom of Speech

Our second strategic goal is for the people of Egypt to understand their need to have freedom of

speech.

"[e]veryone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference" and "everyone shall have the

right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart

information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the

form of art, or through any other media of his choice" - article 19 of ICCPR

ICCPR, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, is a UN General Assembly Resolution

which Egypt signed 1967 and ratified 1982, (with the provision that Sharia does not conflict with the

text).

Public demand for Ban on Governmental Propaganda

Our third strategic goal is for the people of Egypt to demand the prohibition of government

propaganda, irrespective if it is true or false. Any Egyptian state funded media must be run totally

independent of any political or armed forces, with the mission to serve the public.

Key Strategic Areas and StrategiesIn order to get the Egyptian people to demand democracy they need to know how democracy will

profit them personally.

The following are our key strategic areas. Each area has a prioritized goal and strategies to achieve it.

The Egyptian People

For a majority of the Egyptian people to know how democracy will profit them personally

Our target groups are the parts of the Egyptian people that do not know what democracy is and/or

Information about democracy is packaged in a manner adjusted for distribution to the Egyptian

people

To create printed handout material and posters, which are easily understood, that explains what

democracy is and how it will profit the Egyptian people personally

To create printed handout material and posters with pictorial explanations, for the illiterate, of what

democracy is and how it will profit the Egyptian people personally

Volunteers

Goal

For everybody who have protested in Egypt in 2011 to become a volunteer to spread information to

the Egyptian people about democracy

Market this strategic platform and initiatives based on it aggressively in the proper channels

Organization

Goal

To have an organization with the ability to reach all of Egypt geographically and culturally

Strategies

Organize volunteers through the proper channels

Build a management organization to efficiently organize volunteers, starting with an alpha-team to

develop first material and build basic recruitment and persuasion tactics.

In a second step each alpha-member will lead a beta-team specialized in creation of material,

volunteer recruitment or public information and persuasion.

In a third step each beta member will lead a gamma-team and so on.

As the organization grows it will consist of a central coordinating team, regional coordination teams

and local operative teams.
