Where: We donate to local food banks across the country.
Who: Some of our giving partners include:
1 in 6 people in America face food insecurity & hunger.
”Food insecurity” refers to USDA’s measure of lack of access, at times, to enough food for all household members.
In 2013, 49.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 33.3 million adults and 15.8 million children.
40% of food is thrown out in the US every year, or about $165 billion worth. All of this uneaten food could feed 25 million Americans.
