INDEX HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR

The year 2007 represents an important transition year for GaleMed. From establishing the Xiamen facility and expanding to the United States of America with the new A Plus Medical USA to cooperating with world-class research universities and inventors from the USA, Europe, Taiwan, and other Asia-Pacific countries in developing new products for respiratory care, GaleMed has continued to grow by supplying innovative products to benefit patients and medical staff around the world.

Throughout the year 2007, GaleMed has developed and improved many products in our product line. The highlights include the new heated wire circuit for adult and neonate, disposable pressure gauge for adult and neonate, resistors for test lung, new fixed Venturi connector, neonatal ventilation connectors, newly modified CPAP mask designs, and many more!

With our strong Research and Development team in

USA, Taiwan and Xiamen, and our outstanding consultant group in Europe and in North America, we are excited about what we are about to accomplish in the year to come.

This new edition of the English catalogue aims to make the order information more easily understandable. The “New” sign is placed on items that has been introduced this year. In 2007, we have also produced a DVD featuring a high-quality video presentation introducing GaleMed Corporation and an environmentally-friendly e-catalogue for your convenience. Carry out cleaning and sterilization as followings:

Disassemble the products as instructed in the instruction manual, if necessary.

Wash the components thoroughly in warm water containing a mild detergent.Ensure that the detergent is compatible with the component materials.

Rinse the components thoroughly in warm water to remove all traces ofdetergent or fluid.

Sterilize the components using one of the following methods:Oa. Autoclave up to 134 C or 273°F.

b. Ethylene Oxide.

c. Most common disinfecting solutions that are used for equipment coming into contact with the patient. Rinse thoroughly with water after sterilization.

Dry all components thoroughly after sterilization.

Inspect all components for wear and tear or damage and replace themas necessary. Then package appropriately to protect the device from soiland contamination.
