Several new andunique features are common to bothsystems. No primer is required nor dothey require a topcoat, resulting in re•duced installation time and quick re•pairs. They can be installed over dampconcrete minimizing downtime in op•erating plants.

The product imparts a blue iri•descent color to the aluminum surfacethat can be easily measured. Per•matreat 617M is a lower cost, non•chrome alternative that retains the per•formance advantages of a chromeproduct.

Barricade is a long-term rust preven•tive with a salt spray resistance of 200to 300 hours (ASTM B-117). The in•hibitor provides two to three times theprotection compared to the averagerust preventive. It is excellent as asealant over black conversion coatingsand phosphates because it seals outcorrosion and enhances the color of thefinish. It can also be used on baremetal surfaces for long-term storage oroverseas shipment. Barium free, therust preventive can be applied to wet ordry parts by dipping, brushing, or low•pressure spraying. The thin-bodied liq•uid rapidly penetrates recessed areasand displaces moisture from metal sur•faces.

Thesesensors are unaffected by normal inter•fering gases and can detect as little as0.01 ppm. Adjustable audible and vi•sual alarms can be set as low as 0.1ppm. The TG-KA is quick responding,very specific, and weighs less than onepound. Each unit is completely self•contained and comes with a batterycharger, AC power supply, carryingcase, recorder output, and all othernecessary accessories.
