High-tech ‘Food Preservation’How do GE refrigerators preserve food longer and better than other refrigerators? A few key elements: the ClimateKeeper System − with precise digital controls, electronic sensors and a multi-flow air tower − manages temperatures to keep vegetables garden fresh longer. The advanced ClimateKeeper2 technology, with its unique dual-evaporator system, also protects ice from odour transfer. CustomCool technology chills in minutes, thaws in just a few hours, and even allows you to select individual temperature settings for meats, fruits and vegetables.

QualityGE is committed to providing the highest standard of quality in the industry. How? First of all, by using high-quality materials exclusively. Our stainless models are made of high-grade stainless steel, and most exterior surfaces that have painted finishes are made of galvanized steel to improve corrosion resistance. Before being placed in the refrigerator, GE’s door gaskets must pass a 1 million cycle life qualification test. In addition, the inner doors are made of ABS plastic, which greatly improves food hygiene and impact resistance in comparison to HIPS plastic (the material used in standard refrigerators). Most of all, the quality of GE’s refrigerators comes from the expertise and the tradition of excellence that GE has developed diligently over the past century.

ClimateKeeper2 dual evaporator systemThe ClimateKeeper2 dual evaporator system carefully manages temperature with higher humidity in the fresh food compartment to keep foods garden fresh longer. Cycles air in the refrigeration and freezer compartments separately, preventing the transfer of fresh food odours to the frozen foods. Reduces defrost cycles to help keep frozen foods at their best.

Inverter compressorThe variable speed compressor makes our refrigerators more efficient − decreasing energy consumption and damping sound.

Metallic-look series with CleanSteel featureAvailable in shades of aluminium, stainless steel and graphite, the doors shine like stainless steel with a laminated surface − but they’re actually made of electro-galvanised steel bonded with zinc (an innovation GE introduced in 2007). So, unlike stainless steel, this surface holds magnets. And thanks to the magical innovation of the CleanSteel feature, it doesn’t fingerprint and is very easy to keep clean.
