‘Top Performer on Key Quality Measures’ Recognition from the Joint Commission

On Nov. 19, 2015, Lodi Memorial Hospital was proud to be recognized as a 2014 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of healthcare organizations in the United States. Lodi Memorial Hospital was the only hospital in San Joaquin County to be recognized as part of The Joint Commission’s 2015 annual report “America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety,” for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measures performance for surgical care, heart attacks, heart failure, pneumonia and perinatal care.

Leading the Way in Breastfeeding Rates

Lodi Memorial Hospital Maternal/Child Services was named the highest performing hospital in the county and recognized for having the highest rate of exclusive breastfeeding by new mothers of any hospital in San Joaquin County by the UC Davis Human Lactation Center and the California WIC Association.

Acute Rehab Stands Out for Overall Performance

The Lodi Memorial Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Unit was awarded the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation 2016 Top Performer Award for outstanding program performance.

ICU Awarded Bronze-Level Beacon Award

The American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) awarded a bronze-level Beacon Award for Excellence to the Lodi Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Beacon Award for Excellence recognizes unit caregivers who successfully improve patient outcomes and align practices with the organization’s six healthy work environment standards.

Service to Our Community

Since its opening in 1952, Lodi Memorial has offered a nonprofit health system to the community based on compassionate, quality care. In 2015, Lodi Memorial affiliated with Adventist Health, a faith-based, nonprofit integrated health system serving more than 75 communities on the West Coast. Our commitment is to serve our patients and to meet their needs by providing excellent care, health education and support services in a compassionate and cost effective manner.

Our history, rich with support from our community,

compels us to give back. We deliver our mission of healing beyond our hospital doors through our free Walter E. Reiss Outreach Clinic, Camp Hutchins, partnerships within the community and through other programs designed to create a greater impact on the collective health of the community we serve.

We provide our patients the warmth and comfort of a community hospital combined with the strength of a substantial network. In addition to our main campus, we offer more than 20 outpatient locations in Lodi, Stockton, Galt, Sacramento and lone.
