Genesis 1:26 - 2:25; Genesis 2:8-17

• On the sixth day, after God had created everything else, He made man from the dust of the

earth.

• Adam was made in the image of God, because God wanted Adam to love Him, as God loved

Adam.

• Adam walked and talked with God. God told him to name all the animals.

• God saw that Adam was alone, so He put Adam to sleep and made a woman from the rib of

his side. Adam named her Eve.

• After God had finished, He declared everything was very good.

• God commanded that the seventh day should be a day of rest.

• Sunday is a special day, set apart to worship God with His people. It is a day to sing His praises

together in church, to talk to Him in prayer, and to listen as God talks to us from His Word, the

Bible.

What does the Bible say:

• Who was made from dust?

• Who was made from a rib?

• Who named the animals?

What does it mean:

• How many different kinds of animals can you name?

• How did God create the first people?

What does it mean to me:

• Why did God make you?

• Because God is our Creator, how should we as His creation respond to Him?

• What does it mean to love God?

• What does it mean to worship God?

• What does it mean to praise Him?

• What does it mean to pray to Him?

• Have you ever thought how God wants to use you in the world? How?
