Voice Quality Measurement---Leader in the Industry

Voice quality measurement (VQM) is a voice quality monitoring algorithm used in AMR and EFR scenarios. It is originated by Huawei in the industry. The VQM GUI of PHU can display the MOSs of voice quality in real time and the dynamic status of voice quality.—This algorithm does not need external modules or voice samples. The MOS of voice quality are generated directly by the test phone.—External interferences are shielded to ensure accurate test results.—The interference factors (one-way audio, echo, noise, splitting, and clipping) that lead to low MOS are identified and displayed.

Traditional voice testsTraditional voice tests take a long time and require huge workload. The test results depend on the subjective

experience of users and may be inaccurate.

You can view the test results in

various modes.

PESQ-based voice testNo external module is required. Two PHU phones dial the

number of each other, and generate the test data. The test data is uploaded to Probe. Probe analyzes the test data and

generates the MOSs.External interferences are shielded, and the test results are

more accurate and reliable. Field tests are supported.

1. PHU is used in large scale by Indian Reliance to optimize

wireless networks.

2. PHU has been used in sites in the following countries or

regions: Russia, Indonesia, Singapore, Sweden,

Guatemala, Brazil, Mexico, Vietnam, Oman, Norway,

Hong Kong, Czech, Tunisia, Sudan, and so on.

PHU has been used in Pakistan to test the high-efficiency GBTSs, which significantly saves the test cost.

PHU has been used in Hong Kong to optimize the wireless network. Currently, the optimized network has been delivered to the customer.

PHU is used by Vodafone in Spain to perform the benchmark test for network upgrade. Complete KPI results are provided.
