Set Up Your DeviceCharge the Battery1. Plug the AC adapter into the power socket
on your device.2. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical
outlet. Fully charging a battery may take up to three hours.
Note: Your device’s battery should have enough charge for the device to turn on. You should fully charge the battery as soon as possible.
Turn Your Device On1. Press and hold the Power Button.2. When you feel a slight vibration, release
the Power Button.
Turn Your Device Off1. To completely power off the device, press
and hold the Power Button – a selection window will appear with 3 options:• Restart• Power Off• Airplane Mode
2. Select Power Off.
Your screen remains blank while your device is off (unless the battery is charging).

Turn the Screen On and OffYour device allows you to quickly turn the screen off when not in use and to turn it back on and unlock it when you need it.
Turn the Screen Off When Not in Use• Touch to quickly turn the screen
on or off. • To save battery power, the device
automatically turns the screen off after a certain period of time (2 min. by default) when you leave it idle. Touching will turn the screen on and display the lock screen.
Unlock the Screen• Touch and hold the lock icon to unlock
the screen.
Turn the Projector On and Off• Touch the Projector Key to turn the
projector on or off.

If you purchased your device at a Sprint Store, it is probably activated.
If you received your device in the mail, and it is a new Sprint account, your device is designed to activate automatically. When you turn the device on for the first time, you should see a Hands-Free-Activation screen, which may be followed by a PRL Update screen and a Firmware Update screen. Follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
If you received your device in the mail and it is going to be activated on an existing Sprint account, go to sprint.com/activate and follow the instructions.
If your device is still not activated, visit sprint.com/support for assistance. If you do not have access to the Internet, call Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727.

Extended Home ScreensThere are a total of five home screens available, two on each side of the main Home screen.• To view additional screens, swipe your
finger left or right across the screen.• To return to the main Home screen,
touch Home .The Notifications BarThe notifications bar at the top of the home screen provides device and service status information and alerts. • To view alerts and status, drag the
notifications bar downwards with your finger.
• To access quick settings, touch the Quick Settings icon ( ) while the notifications bar is open.
Customize the Home ScreensYou can customize your home screens by adding widgets, application shortcuts, wallpapers, and more.
To add a widget or app shortcut:1. Touch > Apps .2. Touch either APPS or WIDGETS.3. To place an item on a home screen,
touch and hold it and then drag it to the home screen.
To change the wallpaper:1. Touch and hold an empty area on the
home screen.2. Select a location, and then select
a picture.

• Just below the touchscreen, you’ll find the Home Key, Back Key, and Menu Key.
• The right side of the touchscreen contains a column of favorite apps that are available from every Home screen.
• If an app is on one of your Home screens, just tap it to open it.
• If an app is not available from your Home screen, touch , tap Apps , and then tap the app icon. You may have to scroll right or left to find your app.

Touchscreen KeyboardsYour device offers three touchscreen keyboards: Android keyboard, Swype™ (default), and TouchPal Keyboard. Select a field that requires text or numbers to display a keyboard.Switch keyboards:• Drag the notifications bar down, touch
Choose input method, and then select a keyboard type.
Keyboard SettingsYou can customize touchscreen keyboard settings to suit your needs:
1. Touch > Apps > Settings > Language and input.
2. Touch next to a keyboard.
Note: Available settings vary by input method and may include language (English or Español), audio or touch feedback (sound or vibration), auto-capitalization, auto-correct, and user dictionary options.

Project a Saved FileYou can project a file stored on your Sprint LivePro.
1. Touch the Projector Key to turn on the projector.
2. Open the file you want to project.3. Adjust the projection distance and place
the device on a flat surface.Note: For best results, project onto a flat screen at a 90° angle to the floor.
4. Adjust the projector view:• To adjust the focus, rotate the
Adjust Focus Wheel.5. Touch the Projector Key to turn off
the projector.
Project an HDMI SourceYou can project an HDMI source when connecting your Sprint LivePro to a PC or TV Box.1. Connect your device with your PC or
TV Box via an HDMI cable.2. Touch the Projector Key to turn on
the projector.3. From the home screen, touch .4. Operate your PC or TV Box to select the
program you want to view.

ProjectorProject a File Saved in Your USB Device You can project a file stored on your USB device. 1. Connect your USB device to your
Sprint LivePro. Note: Portable hard disk is not supported.
2. Touch the Projector Key to turn on the projector.
3. On the Home screen, touch . 4. Touch USB DEVICE to open the file you
want to project.
Project a Source on Your Phone You can display the content of your phone on your Sprint LivePro with a wireless link.
1. Touch the Projector Key to turn on the projector.
2. Touch > Apps > Miracast™ . 3. Open a Wi-Fi Display application on the
phone to scan for available devices within range.
4. When you see the name of your Sprint LivePro displayed in the available devices section, touch the name. The phone then automatically tries to pair with your Sprint LivePro.
5. Touch Accept on your Sprint LivePro. After successful connection, the contents in the phone will be displayed on the projector.
6. Choose the content you want to display.

Activate Mobile Hotspot1. From the home screen, touch .2. Touch to activate the service.
• Using both LTE service and hotspot drains your device’s battery at a much faster rate than when using any other feature combination.
Note: The best way to keep using the device as a hotspot is to have it connected to a power supply.Important: Write down the security key (password).
Connect to Mobile HotspotUse other devices to connect to your hotspot.1. Enable Wi-Fi (wireless) functionality on your
target device (laptop, media device, etc.).
2. Scan for Wi-Fi networks from the device and select your device hotspot from the network list.• The default name for your device hotspot
is ZTE. You can change the name by touching > > Set up Wi-Fi hotspot > Network SSID.
Note: You must have the hotspot function turned off to change the SSID and Password.
3. Select this device and follow the onscreen instructions to enter the passkey.
4. Launch a Web browser on your target device to confirm the hotspot connection.
Mobile Hotspot allows you to turn your Sprint LivePro into a Wi-Fi hotspot. The feature works best when used in conjunction with LTE data services (although 3G service can also be used).

Connect to a Wi-Fi NetworkWhen you’re in range of an available Wi-Fi network, use your device’s Wi-Fi feature to access the Internet and other data services.
1. Touch > Apps > Settings .2. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, touch the
ON/OFF switch next to Wi-FI to turn Wi-Fi on. 3. Touch Wi-Fi to display a list of available
networks.4. Touch a Wi-Fi network to connect. If
necessary, enter the security key and touch Connect.• When you’re connected to a Wi-Fi
network, you’ll see the Wi-Fi icon ( ) in the status bar.
Note: When you’re not using Wi-Fi, turn it off to extend battery life.
Go Online1. Touch > Apps > Browser .2. Touch the menu bar to enter a Web page
address or touch Bookmarks and touch a bookmark. • For more options, touch from any
page. Options may include Home, Bookmarks, Add to Bookmarks, Share page, Find on page, Save for offline reading, Downloads, Page info, Settings, and About Browser.
• To scroll, slide your finger up or down the page.
• To zoom in or out, pinch the screen.

Power Bank allows you to charge other devices through your Sprint LivePro.

or other devices via a USB cable.2. Press and hold the Power Bank Button
until the power bank icon is displayed in the status bar.Note: Projector and Power Bank cannot be enabled at the same time.

Pair and Connect With a Bluetooth Device1. Touch > Apps > Settings >
Bluetooth.• If Bluetooth is turned off, touch the
Bluetooth slider to turn it on.2. Touch SEARCH FOR DEVICES to scan for
available Bluetooth devices.3. Select an available device and follow the
prompts to pair the devices. You may be required to enter a passcode (often 0000) to complete pairing.
4. Once you’re paired, your connection should launch.
Share Contacts, Files, or Pictures Using Bluetooth1. Open the application containing the file
you want to share (for example, touch > Apps > Gallery ).
2. Locate the file you want to share.• You can send pictures and videos
directly from the Gallery. You can also send other file types. Not all devices will be able to receive all file types.
3. Depending on the application, touch > Bluetooth or touch > Share > Bluetooth.
4. Touch the name of the device to which you’re sending the file. (If prompted, touch Turn on to turn Bluetooth on.)

The Google Play Store™ is the place to find new apps, games, movies, and more.Download Apps and Games1. Touch >Apps > Play Store .2. Browse through featured apps and
games, or tap at the top of the app to start a search.
3. Tap an item to read a description and reviews.
4. Tap INSTALL (for free apps) or the price (for paid applications) and follow the onscreen prompts.
Note: You must have a Google Account set up on your Sprint LivePro to purchase and download applications from Google Play.
Google Mobile Services• Gmail – The Google mail service. Your
Gmail account lets you access many Google-related services as well as the Google Play.
• Hangouts™ – Google’s instant messaging service. Touch > Apps > Hangouts
to begin using the service.• Google Maps™ – The Google location
program. Touch > Apps > Maps to begin using the service.
• YouTube™ – View and share videos. Touch > Apps > YouTube to browse through and view available videos. Sign in with your Google Account to upload your own videos.

Access Settings1. Touch > Apps > Settings .
2. Select the settings category you want to change. To select or clear check boxes (a common setting method), touch the check box. Categories include WIRELESS & NETWORKS, DEVICE, PERSONAL, ACCOUNTS, and SYSTEM.

The Settings menu allows you to customize your device, set permission, download updates, and more.

Manage the Display Brightness and Screen Timeout• Touch > Apps > Settings >
Display > Brightness or Sleep to modify your settings.
Use Task Manager to Stop Applications 1. Touch > Apps > Settings > Apps. 2. Flick the screen right to left until you reach
the RUNNING tab.3. Touch any currently running application
you aren’t using and then touch Stop to end it. Repeat for any other applications that are running but aren’t in use.
Manage Your Device’s Wireless Functions Disable the Projector, Mobile Hotspot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS functions of the device when you’re not using them.
• Touch > Apps > Settings and disable any of these functions that are not in use.
